The color payoff and staying power are fantastic, but if you have dry lips, this formula really emphasizes dryness and flaking. You'll need to keep up with lip care and hydration throughout the day. I found it works great for summer or water park outings! Very drying. Once applied, the dryness becomes quite intense, so moisturizing is absolutely necessary. One application lasts a solid 12 hours minimum. I apply it at home before heading out, and it stays put all the way through my night out and back home again. Unlike other products that fade and leave just the lip line looking patchy, this one keeps its color intact all the way to the inner edges of my lips. As it fades, it takes on a slightly pink tone. I'm absolutely thrilled with this product, but since it's been discontinued, I'm here searching for a replacement that can match it. It's such a shame that this has been discontinued. This is an honest review based on my personal purchase and experience. I received this lip product as a gift and have been using it regularly. The color is vibrant and bright, and it has no fragrance. The staying power is incredibly long-lasting and the color payoff is excellent, though I did notice it can leave my lips feeling a bit dry. This really doesn't budge! It seriously lasts a full 24 hours. The drier your lips are, the better the staying power seems to be. As it fades, it leaves behind a pink tone that can feel heavy if pink isn't your thing. I'm using Ruby Shocking because it has less pink tone compared to Orange Shocking. It works beautifully for warm undertones too. The color really stays put throughout the day. Unfortunately, the tint tends to create a visible lip line at the edges, which is a bit disappointing.
