The color payoff is better than expected when applying. It's a watery tint formula. I have both the old and new versions before discontinuation. This is the old version. It's a grapefruit shocking shade, and while it doesn't stain the case, the color transfers inside and there's a lot of waste. The color application looks patchy and fades quickly around the outer edges of the lips. The reformulated version is much better, though the staying power isn't great by my standards.

The staying power is seriously impressive. When I blend it with other products, it looks absolutely gorgeous. Compared to wearing it alone, layering it with other lip products really boosts the longevity while making the color look even more beautiful. I use this as a base, then layer a glossy lip product on top, and the result is stunning. The main downside is how it fades—it doesn't fade evenly, which looks messy. Plus, it's been discontinued, which is such a shame. I picked this up on the recommendation of a makeup artist, and now it's a must-have lip product whenever I need long-lasting color. Blending is really key with this one. It works beautifully mixed with lighter, glossy lip products too. Fair warning though—if you apply it with your fingers, it stains like ink and doesn't come off easily. Definitely use a silicone-tip lip brush instead. The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's perfect for warm undertones, and it has a nice moisturizing feel that really helps minimize the appearance of dry patches. I usually gravitate toward warm, orange-toned shades over classic reds and pinks, so I grabbed the grapefruit! What I love most is that when the color fades, it doesn't shift to pink like other products—it stays true to its original shade. The staying power is seriously impressive compared to my other lip products, so I find myself reaching for it constantly! Perfect for warm undertones, and it even holds up beautifully during water activities! I haven't found the perfect lip product yet. While this tint lasts longer than others, I still need to touch up my lips after eating, which is frustrating. Does anyone know of a tint that stays put all day long like a tattoo? I'd really appreciate any recommendations!
