The color stays true to what you apply, keeping that initial shade intact. Unlike other tints that tend to deepen over time, this one maintains a consistent, natural look throughout the day. Warm water washes it right off. The staying power isn't quite what I was hoping for.

Even though cool undertones are supposed to look amazing with deep lip colors, wearing something that intense in summer just feels too heavy, you know? This shade is perfect for those days when you want something fresh and clean instead! The color payoff lasts forever, and compared to other tints in this category, it's surprisingly not drying. It also applies beautifully to the upper lip. Photos show: right after application at 3pm, then after my shift at 7pm My job involves wearing a mask while constantly talking and serving, so the color gets rubbed by the mask, I'm talking a lot, and I'm drinking plenty of water throughout my shift - and it still held up beautifully! This is completely untouched wear time with no reapplication, just to show you the real staying power. (The swatch is pretty bare, so check other reviews for better color payoff shots) The staying power is great, but your lips really pay the price for it. You can see the flaking in the second photo. While you might not need lip balm, definitely keep a hydrating lip treatment or gloss handy for touch-ups. If you apply it with a dabbing motion like you would other lip products, the longevity won't be as impressive as you're hoping. Just apply it smoothly and let it dry like a lip stain. Here's my routine: I do my base makeup first, apply the lip color, and let it set completely. Then I gently press once to remove any excess moisture, and finally I go back in to fill in any patchy areas and define the lip line with another layer. That's when it really lasts.
