1e*****Da dầuDa mụnĐược đề xuất30/10/2025 (UTC+0)I can't believe the Tonymoly Black Barley Enzyme Cleanser is out of stock everywhere! This is my absolute holy grail product, so why is it gone? It's completely disappeared from the official website too. Please tell me it's not being discontinued. I'm seriously devastated. This cleanser is so much gentler than that famous Papa*** enzyme cleanser, and I absolutely love the subtle, nutty grain scent. Plus, it's so affordable! Most enzyme cleansers are too harsh for daily use, but this one removes dead skin so gently that I can use it every single day without irritating my skin. Since I have oily skin, I really need to manage sebum to prevent breakouts, and honestly, this product has been a game-changer for my acne too. Why would you discontinue such an amazing product? Honestly, I think Papa*** sells well not because the product is better, but because they have better marketing. Tonymoly makes such quality products but doesn't promote them properly, and then just discontinues them because sales aren't high enough. Please don't reformulate it. I'm begging you to bring back the original formula exactly as it was. I only have a little bit left and I need to reorder, but I can't because it's gone. Please, I hope everyone gets to experience how truly special this product is. My daily cleansing routine: Tonymoly Black Barley Cleanser - absolute must-have. Toner: Toriden Skin Booster - absolute must-have. Ampoule: Toriden Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule - absolute must-have. These three products are non-negotiable staples in my skincare routine. Please, Tonymoly, bring back your enzyme cleanser. - ds*****Da dầuDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất10/09/2025 (UTC+0)
My skin type: Combination to very oily, thin and sensitive skin, prone to occasional breakouts and acne Key features of this product: • Hydration and skin protection care • Exfoliation and deep cleansing • Slightly acidic pH to help balance skin Product texture: This has a very fine powder consistency with some larger granules mixed in (I think they might be black barley). What I love about it: 1. Perfect for daily exfoliation care - One of the standout features mentioned in the product description is exfoliation. The larger granules inside (possibly black barley?) work gently without irritation, making it great for managing dead skin cells. I used to prefer peeling gels that instantly remove surface flakes, but I've learned that products with immediate results can be harsh on skin. Using this long-term, I've noticed gradual improvement in my skin texture. As long as you don't scrub aggressively, there's no discomfort during use. 2. Creates a rich lather - You know how dish soap doesn't feel like it's cleaning well if it doesn't foam up? This powder is so fine that even with just a tiny bit of water, it creates an incredibly luxurious foam. This really helps with the deep cleansing action. The photo shows less foam because I used more water than powder in that shot, but when mixed properly, it creates an amazing, creamy lather. 3. Ideal as a morning cleanser - In the morning, your face has leftover skincare products, sweat, and oil buildup from the night before, so thorough cleansing is important. This truly delivers on the deep cleansing promise as a morning cleanser. What could be better: 1. I'm not sure about the hydration and protection benefits - My face doesn't feel tight after using it, but I can't really confirm the hydration and protection claims 2. I'm unsure if it removes makeup effectively - I normally do a first cleanse with cleansing water, oil, balm, or milk, so it's not an issue for me, but used alone, this powder doesn't completely remove makeup. Though to be fair, this is a cleansing powder, not a makeup remover powder. That said, it's excellent as a morning cleanser and does a great job removing excess oil. Who should try this: I have sensitive skin that's prone to breakouts and acne. I heard enzyme powders are great for this (from a well-known brand), so if you're looking for a budget-friendly alternative, I'd recommend this! Or if you prefer using a powder cleanser instead of a foam type in the morning, this is definitely worth trying!
bi******Da hỗn hợpDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmLỗ chân lông to12/08/2025 (UTC+0)I bought this product to use as a cleanser, but overall I was really disappointed with it. 1. The particles are too large, and even after adding water, some don't dissolve properly, which causes discomfort on my face. 2. The cleansing power is so weak that it can't work as a standalone cleanser at all. 3. Sometimes it creates a good lather, but other times it doesn't produce any foam. - qq***********Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất16/04/2025 (UTC+0)
I absolutely love this product! Ever since Innisfree's Sea Salt line was discontinued, I've been so disappointed with everything else I've tried. I really hope you keep selling this forever! I'm writing this review because I want more people to know about it and prevent it from being discontinued. I'm planning to use this for life! There's nothing, absolutely nothing. No downsides at all, nothing. - gp*******Da hỗn hợpLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiĐược đề xuất15/04/2025 (UTC+0)
This cleanser is gentle yet effective at removing impurities. I've been using it for over six months now and honestly, I haven't found any downsides to it. I haven't discovered any drawbacks yet. If I notice anything later, I'll come back and update my review. - sj*******Da thiếu nướcDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất27/03/2025 (UTC+0)
The skin texture becomes smooth and supple with a dewy, hydrated feel rather than rough or dull. When rubbing with just your hands, it doesn't create much lather. Using a lather whisk or brush seems to work better. - mu**********Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtKhô từ bên trongLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất08/02/2025 (UTC+0)
Great value for the price, though maybe not perfect. Honestly, it's solid and reliable. I'm happy just knowing it doesn't cause any breakouts or irritation. Use just a tiny amount and work it into a good lather before applying—that way it feels smooth and nice. If you don't, your skin can feel a bit dry afterward. See above. Skeptical but fair.

Combination skin means exactly what it sounds like - your skin is dehydrated deep down while appearing oily on the surface, and you develop thicker buildup of dead skin cells. No matter how good a moisturizer you use, that dead skin barrier prevents the beneficial ingredients from penetrating deep into your skin, so the internal dryness and surface shine problem never gets solved. That's why managing dead skin cells is absolutely crucial. Personally, chemical exfoliating ingredients like AHAs didn't work for me, so I needed physical exfoliation. That's when I decided to look for and buy an enzyme cleanser. Bottom line? It was really effective. Using an enzyme cleanser in the morning and a BHA cleanser at night helped me manage dead skin and excess oil pretty well. Once I added a moisturizer suited to the season, my internal dryness finally improved. It took forever though! The thing is, because there are granules in it, it's not completely gentle on your skin. But that's just the nature of enzyme cleansers! If you feel like it's too harsh, try mixing it with more water to dilute it well before using it, or alternate it with a gentler cleanser. That seems like the way to go. (Additional note) Please don't use this if your skin barrier is compromised. And if you have flat warts, be careful because improper use could spread them across your whole face. I'd recommend sticking with a gentler cleanser instead. - dp*****Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất14/01/2025 (UTC+0)
This cleanser leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and thoroughly clean. I love how fresh and smooth my complexion feels afterward—no tightness at all. It even seems to gently remove dead skin cells, and my skin looks noticeably brighter and more radiant. My only wish is that the product size were larger. Otherwise, I'm really happy with it. - ch********Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa dị ứngLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmĐược đề xuất06/10/2024 (UTC+0)
I was on the fence about this product after reading reviews, but decided to give it a try. I had been using a black powder from a Japanese brand, so I thought this would be similar and went ahead with the order. It's supposed to have the benefit of reducing skin irritation, but that part is a bit... I'm not sure if there was a sale or something, but I ended up getting it at a great price. The individually wrapped packaging creates a lot of waste, and trying to apply the small portions with wet hands doesn't always work smoothly. I switched to using the jar version instead, and I really like that one. I'm not sure if it's intentional, but the particles in the powder don't dissolve well. When I put the powder in my hand and add a bit of water to mix it, it should create a lather, but the bubbles just disappear. Naturally, the undissolved particles go straight onto my face, which is really disappointing. I bought this specifically to remove sunscreen, but having to do a double cleanse every single day is just too much. I don't know what went wrong. I think I made the wrong choice. I'm wondering if I need to dissolve it in warm water instead. I've tried turning on hot water and rinsing a few times while sprinkling the powder on, but both the particles and the lather vanish. I rush through my cleanse to save on water heating costs, so maybe I need to change my routine.
