This is absolutely my holy grail product! I'm obsessed with how amazing it is. I've tried so many other things, but I always come back to this one. Just be mindful of the amount you use since it can feel heavy if you apply too much. The coverage and adherence are excellent. It stays put without breaking down, and there's no darkening or oxidation. This product breaks me out every time I use it. I tested this by applying it only to the right side of my face since my left side was turned away (this isn't because of the product!!!) You might think the shade is too light for my skin tone, but honestly, compared to a darkening foundation, it's not that bright. It's actually darker than shade 21. The coverage works well on areas like my nose, but it doesn't cover my T-zone pores, textured patches, or blemish marks. Plus, the textured areas tend to look patchy or flaky. Blemish marks are impossible to cover. Even applying this foundation 1-2 extra times over problem areas doesn't help—it actually makes them look more obvious and emphasized. It flakes off where my glasses touch, and it doesn't cover redness well either. And if you have severe texture issues, just skip this one! Ugh... I'm so glad I bought the refill for testing purposes. The coverage, adhesion, and staying power are all fantastic! The shade is a beautiful ivory tone, and even beginners can apply it easily. What I love most is how incredibly lightweight it feels - you barely notice you're wearing a cushion foundation. It holds up beautifully throughout the day, and it actually gives you a lovely dewy finish. The amount control takes a bit of practice. The darkening effect seems really minimal compared to other cushions. It applies smoothly and adheres thinly to the skin, so it feels comfortable to use whether you have dry, combination, or any skin type in between! After applying it to my skin, there's genuinely no darkening for up to 4 hours. Since the formula is lightweight, the coverage feels a bit sheer. I bought this because a YouTuber recommended it, but it keeps breaking me out, and I'm not sure if it's just me or the product. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this one. I didn't experience any breakouts, but the staying power is disappointing and it seems to oxidize darker over time. I love how soft and smooth this feels on my skin! It's such a great semi-matte cushion that doesn't leave me feeling parched. Unfortunately, the more I use it, the more its flaws become obvious. I do have dry skin, which plays a part, but here are the main issues: First drawback: The compact case is way too small, making it awkward to pick up product, and the puff is so tiny that controlling how much product I use is really difficult. Second drawback: Because the case is so compact and the mesh design lets too much product come out at once, I end up with way more than I need. I usually like mesh cushions, but this one frustrated me. Third drawback: The shade is way too light! I'm using Springone 23 number 2 in beige, but it's incredibly bright. Even people with cool undertones find it too light. Instead of a natural ivory tone, it gives off an overly bright ivory vibe that doesn't work for my deep undertone in shade 23. If you have dry skin, make sure you prep your skin really well with skincare, exfoliate thoroughly, and then apply this semi-matte cushion. As I mentioned before, if you struggle with controlling the amount of product or if the shade feels too light, don't just use the puff that comes with the compact. I absolutely love the mesh cushion! I was curious about the matte finish, so I decided to try it out, and honestly, both the coverage and staying power are really impressive! The pore coverage and touch-ups aren't quite what I hoped for. It seems to break down a bit too easily when I sweat.
