Both have their strengths, but this one feels more hydrating and works better for my skin. Considering the amount you get for the price, it's really a solid choice. I don't really have any complaints or disappointments with this product. That said, there are so many excellent toners and essence products available these days that while I used to rely on basic toners as a staple in my routine, now I mostly use this as a secondary product. Since there are so many high-performance toners and essence products on the market nowadays, it makes sense to save those premium formulas for your core skincare steps and keep a versatile secondary toner like this one on hand for multiple uses. I mainly use it with sheet masks or modeling packs. Before applying an aloe mask, I saturate a cotton pad with plenty of this toner and leave it on for about five minutes to boost hydration, or after a modeling pack, I use a generously soaked pad to gently remove any leftover residue.
