I have a somewhat sensitive and oily scalp, so I tried this for flake control and I'm really happy with it. The lather is better than expected, and the cooling effect feels so refreshing. There's nothing really to complain about, but the dispenser opening only releases such a tiny amount that I ended up opening the entire cap to get the product out. I ended up just pouring some into my palm and massaging it in that way. It might be better if you made the opening wider, like a regular shampoo bottle! Right after shampooing, my hair felt a bit stiff, but if you use it together with a conditioner, it's not really a problem. Here's a tip: Start by massaging it into your scalp, and if you feel like you need more product or it's getting a bit dry, just dampen your hair slightly with water. My scalp feels refreshed and clean. The product rinses out completely without leaving any residue or particles behind. I'm not sure if it's just how clarifying products work, but my hair feels a bit stiff and dry after using it.

Even though I naturally have a keen sense of smell and pregnancy has made it even more sensitive, I don't feel any resistance to the fragrance at all. I actually wish the scent lasted longer after I finish washing! 2. The lather is amazing. It's seriously like using a functional shampoo. 3. My scalp feels so refreshed and invigorated. The cooling sensation is fantastic. 4. My favorite benefit is honestly this: I used to wash my hair at night, dry it, and by the next afternoon, that unpleasant hair odor would start creeping back. But after using this product for the first time, I noticed the next day that the odor was completely gone! It's truly incredible. The instructions say to use it two to three times a week, but I've been using it every single day since then. With regular shampoo, the odor issue was unavoidable, so I had to wash daily. But even with daily use of this product, my scalp doesn't feel irritated or itchy, so I use it with complete confidence. 5. I don't see any flaky dandruff anymore. This is another top benefit alongside point number four. The narrow opening means the product comes out in small, thin streams, so I have to squeeze it multiple times to get enough product. It's a bit tedious. But since this is designed for scalp treatment and needs to be applied close to the scalp, I understand why the opening is designed to be narrow and pointed for precision. Other than that, I don't have any complaints! While I'm squeezing the product out multiple times, the moisture in my hair gradually evaporates. So the shampooing feels a bit dry. This product has a grainy texture like a scrub, which feels refreshing and produces a nice lather. After using it, I feel like my skin gets a deep cleanse, and I'm really satisfied with the results. I thought this was a product you could apply directly to your scalp without removing the cap, but it turns out you need to unscrew the cap and squeeze the product into your palm to use it like a regular shampoo. True to its sea salt name, this scrub has that satisfying grainy texture, and what I really love is that it doesn't irritate my skin even when I massage it in. The scent is quite strong - I'd say it has a pretty distinctive smell to it.

After leaving it on for 1-2 minutes, you get this refreshing cooling sensation on your scalp that feels amazing. I started using it because my scalp tends to get oily, and while it's not a dramatic transformation, I think using it every other day would be perfect for keeping my oily scalp in check. The fragrance feels a bit too artificial and not really my thing. I also noticed my scalp felt slightly itchy after using it, so I'll need to try it a few more times to see if that improves. I found that using a silicone scalp brush to massage through your hair after applying it works really nicely too.
