I was worried about the smell since it contains sulfur, but it's actually fragrance-free. I can't really tell if it's working yet though. The soap felt really dry and didn't dissolve very well. Since I didn't feel like making lather the traditional way, I grated the soap and soaked it in water, and it turned into a cream-like consistency. I was worried the soap would be too small for shower use, but I was pleasantly surprised by how substantial it actually is. I haven't used it extensively yet, but the formula is really gentle. While the soap bar format is nice, I'd love to see this product available in a liquid body wash container instead. This soap is absolutely amazing for back acne! Yes, it's a bit drying since it's soap-based, but the results on body breakouts are so incredible that I don't mind at all. When I use it and follow up with the trouble mist spray, the effects are doubled—now I barely see any marks and breakouts have completely stopped showing up. Since it's a soap, there is some dryness that comes with it. Honestly, I prefer it that way because it's so gentle and neutral. That's why I'm listing it as a positive! If I really had to pick something, it would be slight dryness. Plus, the dryness is easily solved by applying a good body lotion after your shower, so I wouldn't even call it a real drawback.
