This product is surprisingly convenient. Even when I forget to do a treatment, I can just massage it in after rinsing without needing to rinse again. At first, I felt the softening effect was a bit lacking, but the more I used it, the better I got at finding the right amount for my hair. Since I have short hair, I've been using this for ages. I apply it every time after shampooing, but it never feels like too much, and the product barely depletes. I think I can easily get over a year of use out of it. Best of all, there's almost no packaging waste, which I really appreciate. The softness might feel less intense compared to liquid treatments. If your shampoo leaves your hair feeling dry and stiff, you might feel like the treatment isn't doing enough. I was already satisfied with the Tone 28 shampoo and using it regularly, so I decided to try out the no-wash treatment as well! Since it's a no-wash formula, I was curious about how it would work and whether it would actually deliver results. After trying it, I have to say it's pretty impressive. It's a bit tricky to apply on dry hair, but when I apply it to damp hair and then blow dry, it leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft and smooth, just like I've used a hair essence. I really appreciate that this brand cares about the environment, and since the product actually works well, I'm definitely planning to repurchase once I finish this bottle. You do need to apply it to damp hair, and since storage and maintenance aren't the easiest, some people might find it inconvenient to use.

The only thing is, it doesn't provide enough weight or control for severely damaged hair, so you might need to pay more attention to how you're applying the product. After shampooing, squeeze out the excess water from your hair, then apply a generous amount of the product. If it feels too slick, just rinse it lightly with a bit of water.

The cleansing power of this shampoo bar keeps getting better with each use, but I was dealing with dry, brittle hair as a trade-off. My regular conditioner wasn't cutting it when it came to taming frizz and static, so finding a treatment bar that pairs perfectly with the shampoo bar has been a game-changer. This treatment bar fills in all the gaps that the shampoo bar leaves behind. I use it as a leave-in treatment because it seems to lock in oils on my hair strands until my next wash, which prevents over-stripping when I shampoo again. The amount is tricky to control, and it gets all over my hands when I'm drying my hair. When my hair is wet, it spreads on smoothly, but as it dries, it gets sticky and tacky. That's why I find it easier to apply and rinse it out. At first, I wasn't sure if it was even working because barely anything seemed to transfer onto my hair. But when I warm it up like melting ice in warm water and rub it in, it applies really well and leaves a white residue. I can work that white layer in with wet hands and it blends evenly. Everyone says the leave-in formula makes it convenient, but honestly, I find it more hassle than the shampoo bar. The shampoo bar lathers beautifully, has better cleansing power than liquid shampoo, and rinses out so much easier. I love that it doesn't require heat to work. The product delivers results for hair texture without needing hot air to activate the ingredients. This is especially great during summer when you want to avoid extra heat. My hair gets weighed down easily, and it takes forever to dry. Even though the instructions say you can use it on the scalp, I skip that step. Make sure not to apply it twice to the same section. The formula tends to clump and flake, or it sticks to your hair strands. The application instructions are a bit unclear, which might be annoying depending on your routine. For me, it works fine since I apply it after shampooing and cleansing, then wrap my hair in a towel while I shower. My mom used to get an itchy scalp whenever she tried regular conditioners from the store, so I thought Tone28 products would be gentler and better for her. She absolutely loves it and uses it all the time! The fact that it comes with a foaming net makes it even more convenient to use. Since it's a soap-based formula, you do need to work up a lather, which can be a bit of a hassle. I've been using this product for quite a long time now. Even though it's a nourishing treatment for damaged hair and I applied it generously, it lasted me a really long time. There's a subtle herbal scent, but it's not overpowering or off-putting at all. It does help to some extent, but it doesn't deliver results beyond what you'd expect from a standard treatment. Compared to high-nutrition formulas or leave-in liquid treatments, the effectiveness was noticeably lower. Plus, the treatment bar is difficult to apply without moisture, and it's annoying to store and maintain. Beyond the value for money, there are quite a few drawbacks.
