First, I was blown away by how incredibly soft and creamy the formula is, just like whipped cream. The lather is so fluffy and pillowy that it feels amazing on my skin. Even after rinsing, my face feels perfectly moisturized with zero tightness. The cleansing power exceeded my expectations too. Despite being pH-balanced and gentle, it removes full makeup effortlessly. I can actually feel the matcha particles working to clear out pores and impurities. It's like getting cleansing, soothing, and skin texture refinement all in one smart step. Even my sensitive skin feels completely safe with this. It's fragrance-free and vegan-certified, so I can use it without any worry, even on my reactive skin. No breakouts at all, and my skin actually feels calmer and more comfortable, making it perfect for daily use. While this is a pH-balanced cleanser, I did notice some slight tightness after cleansing on certain days. Especially on dry days or after spending long hours in heated indoor spaces, I'd recommend applying a hydrating product right after washing. Those with oily or combination skin might be fine, but if you have dry skin, you'll definitely want to prioritize a solid moisturizing routine to get the most satisfaction from this product. Here's a pro tip: in the morning, apply it like a gentle foam mask, let it sit briefly, then rinse. It clears away impurities without irritation and helps makeup apply beautifully. With natural-derived ingredients and a soft matcha fragrance, your day starts feeling fresh and clean.

I recommend this foam cleanser to those with dry skin who want a gentle, pH-balanced formula that sits perfectly between cleansing gels and milks—less slippery than the former, less squeaky-clean than the latter. The formula itself has a pleasantly thick consistency that glides smoothly without any irritation when massaging, and it produces less lather compared to other foam cleansers. Among all the foam cleansers I've tried, Toriden's hyaluronic acid version is the most hydrating, and this one feels slightly less moisturizing but cleanses more refreshingly than Toriden. Usually, when a cleanser produces minimal bubbles like this, it struggles to remove sunscreen, but Trimay handles even hydrating tone-up sunscreen without any trouble. While it contains citric acid as an exfoliating ingredient, my extremely sensitive atopic skin tolerates it beautifully with zero irritation, even with twice-daily use. That said, if you're accustomed to more powerful formulas like Senka Perfect Whip or Medipeel Collagen Foam that strip moisture down to the core, this might feel like it's not cleansing enough. For oily skin that prioritizes dense, voluminous lather and a squeaky-clean, refreshing finish, this is too gentle and hydrating for summer use. If you have ultra-sensitive skin that can only tolerate pH-balanced formulas but dislike how milk cleansers feel insufficiently cleansing, I'd recommend this as your year-round morning cleanser.
