I have sensitive, oily skin, and I've had a lot of trouble with hyaluronic acid in the past—it actually triggers deep, stubborn breakouts for me. So I basically avoided any products containing hyaluronic acid for over two years, except for trying this one a couple of times when I first bought it. Absorption: Since it's 50% hyaluronic acid and 50% collagen, I wouldn't say the absorption is lightning-fast, but it absorbs really well without feeling sticky or heavy on oily skin. No greasy residue at all. Formulation: Because it's a freeze-dried capsule, you do need to be careful when opening it—it can crumble if you tear it wrong. But honestly, that's not a big deal since you're mixing it with a toner or essence anyway, and it dissolves and absorbs right away. Texture and Application: The texture is noticeably smoother and more silky compared to my regular toner or essence when you dissolve it. It applies with a beautiful sheen, and there's this amazing feeling of having just had a professional treatment when it settles into your skin—I really loved that. They say you'll see major results in two weeks, but I actually noticed a difference in just one week. And like I mentioned, my skin is prone to breakouts. The only issue I had was some light, minor bumps during the adjustment period—which is totally normal when introducing new ingredients to your routine. Beyond that initial adjustment phase, my skin improved dramatically. I do have two concerns I should mention: the price and the practicality. First, the price is honestly quite steep. Apparently this product was released internationally first, so they priced it based on overseas market rates and then adjusted it to match similar pricing in Korea, which makes it expensive. Second, on the practical side, opening the capsule takes a bit of effort. It's not like you need to use a lot of force, but if you don't have nails, it could be inconvenient to open. Just keep that in mind. Here's my tip for using this product: don't dissolve it and rub it in with your hands. Instead, just place it directly on your skin and apply it from there. Then layer whatever moisturizer you have on top. Personally, I mix it with a toner and apply it, then follow with a retinol essence, a very thin layer of hydrating cream, and finish with a galvanic treatment. For the final step, I use just a tiny bit of jojoba oil or another lightweight oil, rub it thoroughly between my hands, and press it in to eliminate almost all shine.
