I purchased this along with collagen during a bulk order. It would be convenient if collagen came included with this product, but I guess it's necessary to buy them separately to get the high potency I'm looking for. I've heard some people see results from elastin alone, but it's inconvenient having to take collagen as a separate supplement.

I chose this product because my skin was feeling dry and lacking elasticity. I once saw a beauty YouTuber share an easy way to get elastin by frying dried pollock skin in plant-based oil as a snack. I actually loved eating it as a side dish at home, so the idea appealed to me. The only downside is that it's pretty tedious to prepare. Then I stumbled upon this product by chance! I ended up trying it alongside the collagen from the same brand, and honestly, it's better than I expected. At first, I was hesitant since it's not technically a health supplement, but personally, I find this works even better than their collagen. I didn't order as much elastin as collagen, so I have plenty of collagen left over, but I'm thinking about ordering more elastin. The taste is actually really good too. It has that dried pollock skin flavor, which anyone who's tried it would recognize. There's absolutely no aftertaste or anything off-putting about it. It's not classified as a health supplement. That said, since elastin is inconvenient to get from regular food sources, I'm satisfied with being able to consume it in this product form. I take this together with collagen. The collagen and elastin combination actually work synergistically to enhance each other's benefits.
