No white cast at all! It's a natural beige-toned moisturizing sunscreen that feels so hydrating. I didn't experience any breakouts from using it, and I really appreciated how straightforward and reliable it is. I love that this hydrating sunscreen comes in different formulas for various skin types! My skin is sensitive, combination with dry patches, prone to breakouts, and gets red easily. Since I don't typically use lightweight base products, that might be why... Even though it's labeled for oily skin, it has a bit of moisture and a slight dewy finish, which makes some reviews calling it "powdery" feel a little contradictory. (The white shade 35 for sensitive skin does feel a bit more powdery!) Plus, there are so many single-ingredient sunscreens out there now claiming to be more hydrating or have better spreadability, like zinc-based ones. I'm really glad this isn't just a single-ingredient formula because my skin absolutely doesn't work well with 100% zinc sunscreens. Everything else is great, but the packaging really needs an upgrade. The container looks pretty, but that's honestly all it has going for it. It's so stiff that it's hard to squeeze out the product. It doesn't stand upright either, so I always have to lean it against something to store it. It's difficult to tap it with my hand to get the product out, and I've actually lost product several times by shaking it to push the contents forward and accidentally dropping it. That's why I took off a star. The white cast isn't too strong and it has a beige-toned hydrating formula. On my skin, it looks natural but a bit dull, so I mix in a higher ratio of the white shade 35 for sensitive skin, and that's perfect!
