With SPF35 PA++, it's perfect for everyday use. The only downside is I wish the sun protection factor was higher. My skin is combination type with dryness around my cheeks and mouth, while my T-zone gets oily and I struggle with dehydration underneath. The sunscreen I usually use is that pink one from Dr. Jart, so I compared them side by side. All my observations are based on how this one stacks up against Dr. Jart! In the photos, the top is this product and the bottom is Dr. Jart. 1. Application It applies well, but... it doesn't feel quite as smooth as I'd hoped. That said, compared to my old mineral sunscreen that just left white cast and felt chalky, this is a total game-changer! It applies slightly less smoothly than Dr. Jart, but it's definitely more than good enough! 2. Scent Honestly, it doesn't bother me at all. It just smells like your typical fragrance-free sunscreen! 3. UV Protection Level I usually stick with SPF 50, so SPF 35 was new territory for me. I tested it by wearing SPF 50 one day, then this SPF 35 the next day, and then alternating between both for a day. On the back of my hand where I didn't blend it perfectly, there's a visible difference, but if you use the pro tip I mentioned below, there's literally no difference to the naked eye! Actually, the side with this product has a subtle shimmer that looks really pretty! After wearing both for several days, I honestly couldn't feel a major difference. When I remove them at night, both have that oily feel where the white cast disappears, and there's truly no difference here. It feels like I'm just wearing one product. Since my activities are mostly everyday stuff rather than intense outdoor time, I didn't notice a huge difference in UV protection. If the price and packaging improve, I'd definitely buy this and use it regularly! The overwhelming downside: The packaging is so inconvenient! Even if I tap the tube to get the product out smoothly, I still have to squeeze really hard to get anything. No matter how much I squeeze, it barely comes out. The case design is awkward, and it feels like I'm getting way too little product for what I'm paying. Build a really solid base first, then dab this sunscreen on with your fingers in spaced-out spots, and blend it out with a puff. After some time passes, the white cast pretty much disappears. * Final Thoughts: This sunscreen is genuinely gentle and my skin felt so comfortable. Even though my skin is really sensitive, I experienced zero irritation. Whenever I use organic sunscreens, my skin inevitably gets stingy and red with irritation, but this one didn't do that at all. When you first apply it, your skin looks absolutely beautiful. It doesn't slide around sloppily—it builds up smoothly and gives you that perfect luminous glow. Depending on your preferred skin finish, I found it more convenient to use solo on makeup-free days rather than before makeup (since it does pull some moisture from your skincare routine). - If you love a dewy finish or prefer visible sun protection, this is definitely worth trying. The lack of oil content makes my cheeks feel really dry (combination skin). I usually prefer SPF 50 sunscreens, but because of the white cast (even with SPF 35, a coin-sized amount is too much), it gets way too white and I end up applying less than I should, which is disappointing. That said, the white cast does fade away after a while.
