This is such a great substitute for purple cushion! It doesn't slip around, it's affordable, and I loved it so much I bought another one. I'm not sure if this is the culprit, but I broke out after using it, so I've been taking a break from it for a few days. Though it probably isn't the cause after all. - ir********Da trung tínhLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông toMẩn đỏĐược đề xuất03/11/2025 (UTC+0)
I was pleasantly surprised by how natural it looks on my skin and how much better my complexion appears. It exceeded my expectations! I honestly can't think of any downsides. The value for the price is fantastic, and I'm really satisfied with it! - dk*********Da hỗn hợpBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất31/10/2025 (UTC+0)
I have combination skin, and I'm shade 22. 1. The color-correcting effect makes my complexion look noticeably clearer and more radiant. The blue undertones neutralize any yellow or dull tones, instantly brightening up tired-looking skin. 2. The lightweight formula feels comfortable and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Even when I use it as a base, my makeup doesn't shift or slide around. I especially love it on days when I want to keep my foundation routine minimal and just do a quick tone correction without all the layers. 3. The price is incredibly affordable, so there's no pressure to commit. It's perfect if you want to test out color-correcting products without breaking the bank. 4. It doesn't leave an overly shiny finish, so it's easy to control oil production during the base step, even for oily and combination skin types. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to gently correct a dull complexion, anyone looking for an affordable color-correcting product, and anyone who prefers a lightweight makeup routine. 1. Because of the clear blue tone, if you have darker skin, it can look slightly pale or grayish. So if you're shade 23 or darker, or if you prefer a more natural-looking tone, you'll want to be careful with this one. 2. If you apply it too thickly, it can leave a white or ashy cast, and sometimes you might notice slight pilling or flaking when it layers with other products. Over-layering can actually mess up your natural skin texture instead of enhancing it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with a deeper skin tone who wants natural-looking color correction, or to anyone who's sensitive to minor texture issues or color shifts. 1. Apply a thin layer with a small amount, then gently press and tap it in with your fingers to help it blend seamlessly. This prevents that pale, washed-out look. The key is using restraint and not overdoing it! 2. If you have a deeper skin tone, try mixing it with your foundation or cushion compact. This mellows out the blue undertones and gives you a more natural-looking correction. - ry*****Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenQuầng thâm mắtLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất30/10/2025 (UTC+0)
One Month Review This product is trending at the drugstore, and I heard it's an affordable version of the VDL primer, so I decided to try it. It has a lot of purple tone and white cast comes through immediately, but the texture is quite thin. For faces with a lot of yellow undertones, it seems like it would correct that right away, though if you're not careful, you might get some white cast. Still, I keep using it as a base before applying foundation and it works amazingly well! Plus, it has SPF protection built in, so I don't need to use a separate sunscreen, which is fantastic. Honestly, there's nothing really bad about it. For just five dollars, this is such an incredible price that even if something were off, you couldn't complain. The value for money is seriously impressive. And the best part is how hydrating it is, so it works for dry, oily, and combination skin types alike. Even though it's a primer, I still apply my skincare routine underneath. When I mix it with a serum, it goes on even more smoothly and stays put without any pilling. - ka**********Da khôDa nhạy cảmDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongĐược đề xuất19/10/2025 (UTC+0)
I absolutely love how this gives a subtle brightening effect without being overdone, and it feels nicely hydrating even for dry skin types When used alone, it can apply a bit too oily and doesn't provide much coverage - mi*********Da khôĐược đề xuất27/09/2025 (UTC+0)
My hands were getting so much sun damage, so I tested it at the store first and bought it right away. For such an affordable price, my skin tone evened out the moment I applied it, so I purchased it immediately and used it all over my hands and arms. I haven't tried it on my face yet, so I'm not really sure if it provides enough hydration. It's perfect for summer when my skin is sun-kissed and I want quick coverage. Tone-up hand creams are usually so expensive, but this product alone does the job perfectly. - qo********Da thiếu nướcDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenĐược đề xuất20/09/2025 (UTC+0)
Is this the Vdl Serenity? I used it before and my skin got really irritated, but this one doesn't irritate my skin at all!! I'm very happy with it. Serenity: feels dry, semi-matte finish, great at neutralizing yellow undertones Tag: feels hydrating, semi-matte finish but more on the dewy side (though not a full dewy finish), helps with yellow undertones but not as much as Serenity However, for my shade 23, Serenity looks way too pale when applied normally, and feels too dry with less product, so the Tag formula works better for me because it applies smoothly while still color-correcting, which I prefer even more. I applied the foundation and went out, and it stayed put all day!!!! So I think I'll use this year-round unless it's extremely hot summer. For people with fair skin, it might be just okay, but for my warm-toned shade 23 skin, I'm very satisfied with it. Even with a small amount, my skin looks too pale, so I wish they had reduced the amount and lowered the price by 3,000 won instead. Also, looking at Daiso reviews and YouTube reviews, some people recommend it for oily skin and others for dry skin, so it seems like it really divides opinions depending on your skin type. It applies well even with just your fingers, so there's no special technique needed. Since recommendations for dry versus oily skin vary so much, I'd suggest testing it out when a friend has purchased it first. - fq********Da khôKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất20/09/2025 (UTC+0)
Oh my gosh, I absolutely love this! If you found your previous foundation a bit too dry, this is definitely the one for you! The coverage is seriously impressive without being heavy-handed. Plus, it has great sun protection and gives you that dewy, moisturized finish that keeps your skin looking fresh and never flaky. This is a total must-have staple! I'm recommending this as a base product without hesitation. If you're expecting dramatic coverage and color correction, you might feel a little let down. I'd suggest using a primer before foundation for better results. You can even apply it to your neck and it won't transfer onto your clothes, so it's perfect for getting that polished, even-toned look on your body without breaking the bank! - gu**********Da khôDa nhạy cảmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất19/09/2025 (UTC+0)
I have incredibly fair skin, around shade 17. I don't necessarily need a corrector or tone-up cream, but I was curious and wanted to try one anyway. When I spotted this at Daiso, I decided to give it a go! There aren't many blog or YouTube reviews out there, but the ones I found were pretty mixed. What I love: First off, it feels so hydrating and applies beautifully. Even as time passes, it stays moisturized and maintains that luminous finish. The product is advertised to neutralize yellow undertones with its sky-blue shade, though honestly it seems to do more of a brightening effect than anything else. After a while, it feels less like a color-correcting cream and more like a standard tone-up product. The price is incredibly affordable and you get a generous amount. There's no pilling or separation. At first, I thought it looked too white on my skin, but after just five minutes, it blends perfectly with my complexion. Since it combines sunscreen and base, it's super convenient. It's also great if you want to skip foundation. The best part? It makes going foundation-free totally doable. The fragrance is way too strong! I'm not usually sensitive to scents, but this has such a powerful perfume smell that I was confused at first. It's a strong citrus fragrance that really stands out. Because it has color, pores that weren't visible under transparent sunscreen suddenly become very noticeable. Since it's so hydrating, it can feel a bit heavy and sticky. I didn't layer foundation on top, but just wearing this alone makes it hard to touch my skin without leaving fingerprints everywhere. It's also tricky to apply evenly by hand like you would with sunscreen, and it tends to clump a bit. Here's the thing though—while the initial brightening effect is nice, after some time it just feels like a regular hydrating base with some tone-up benefit. Unfortunately, it doesn't cover red blemishes well. My skin already has some permanent yellow and red undertones, but any active breakouts or new blemishes with that red inflammation? This product can't hide those. If you have a typical skin tone in the 21-23 shade range, you'll definitely see a noticeable brightening effect. Even those of us with fairer skin like mine will see a pretty good result. If you have oily skin, this might be challenging to wear—it can look shiny and slick. As someone with dry skin, I'm really happy with how it feels on me. Given the affordable price, it would be perfect to use on your neck and the back of your hands. In the photo, I only applied it to the right side of my hand. You can see the brightening effect clearly in person, but it's harder to capture in photos, so I used the flash to show you the difference.
