Since it's a night formula, it has a slightly rich texture! It seems to work well even for dry skin types. It's hydrating yet has a nice, creamy texture. It doesn't feel overly oily at all, which keeps my skin feeling comfortable. This is especially perfect during summer when you're dealing with heat outside and dry air conditioning indoors, and you really don't want to apply anything too heavy. Since I have dry skin, I usually layer my skincare pretty generously, but this product got me through the entire summer. One sample lasts such a long time too! I've heard the sample is actually better than the full-size version though, so now I'm not sure if I should buy the full product... I was using a day cream and night balm from another brand, but I discovered this product later and decided to try a sample out of curiosity. Just like my previous routine, this one also comes with separate day cream and night balm formulas. I apply the cream during the day and the balm at night. After applying the soothing serum first, when I layer this on top, my skin feels so much more hydrated and calm. Even though it's a night balm, it's not overly heavy or sticky. It spreads smoothly and absorbs beautifully into the skin. The soothing and moisturizing benefits are definitely noticeable!!! Well, the ingredients are good and I appreciate that the balm and cream come separately. It covers all the basics really well. I honestly can't think of any real drawbacks. This is exactly the barrier cream I've been looking for. It's a protective barrier formula that isn't too heavy or thick, and it absorbs beautifully into the skin without leaving a greasy feel. My skin has been acting sensitive lately, and my skin barrier keeps breaking down, but this barrier cream is by far the most effective one I've tried. My cheeks were stinging, itchy, dry, and inflamed, but after applying a generous layer before bed, the irritation calmed down significantly overnight. After using it for just two to three days, everything returned to normal except for a slight redness! Other barrier creams didn't work this well in such a short time, but this one is so effective that I'm definitely going to stock up and keep using it! I apply this before bed and wake up with incredibly soft, smooth skin. It has a richer, more nourishing texture compared to other barrier creams, so I'd definitely recommend it for anyone dealing with very dry skin! I ordered a sample first and loved it, so I bought the full size. Honestly, the sample felt better than the actual product, which is disappointing. The full-size version doesn't seem to manage pores as effectively. Dharma Ice Cream & Balm - I was skeptical at first since I kept hearing recommendations everywhere, but I decided to buy both and I'm so glad I did. This product is absolutely fantastic! My face is extremely sensitive, and even the best skincare can irritate it and become unusable. But this one? Zero irritation whatsoever, and it feels so hydrating! It's a lightweight moisturizing cream without any stickiness, or a regenerating balm for irritated areas - honestly, it works perfectly for everything, every single day. Plus, it plays nicely with all my other products, which makes it even better. I have dozens of products in my collection, but I keep reaching for this one without even thinking about it! This is truly a gem. Among all the creams and balms out there, some are really good but leave a white cast after application, so I mainly used those at night. But this one? No white cast at all, so I find myself using it morning and night! I've been wondering why I keep gravitating toward it, and I think it's because it delivers hydration without any irritation, pilling, or strong fragrance - it's just smooth and effective. Highly recommend! You know what's funny? I can't even tell you exactly which ingredients make it so good, but it just works! When I run out, I'm like 'Wait, where did it go?' and I immediately start looking for it. It's the kind of product you feel incomplete without - that's how good it is! This product combination works really well with what I'm already using, and the hydration is seriously impressive. Every winter I've tried multiple products to combat that inner dryness, but this current routine seems to be the best match for my skin. Even with the office heater running constantly, my skin stays so much less dry. It's too heavy with oils for summer use. You really need to save this for winter only. I'm using The Lab by Blanc Doux Oligo and Hyaluronic Acid Deep Toner as my base, applying each twice. Then I layer the Eclat D'Arpege Activation Cream, which acts as my moisture cream, also twice. I finish with one application of this product before heading out. Compared to other winter products I've tried before, this one is definitely the winner. My skin is quite sensitive and I'm prone to allergies, but I haven't experienced any reactions at all.
