This water-based serum has virtually no viscosity and feels completely non-sticky. I experienced zero irritation, and it genuinely feels like it's elevating my skin's overall condition. Among The Ordinary products, this is the first serum that's given me nothing but positive results without any side effects, and I'm definitely repurchasing it. Don't expect much in terms of hydration from this one. Since it has a runny consistency, you'll find yourself going through it pretty quickly.

That's why I'm writing this review after using this product for over a month. 1. I found this product recommended on an international anti-aging serum forum with amazing reviews. I kept it in my cart for months, going back and forth, before finally deciding to purchase it. Truthfully, most products recommended by international beauty enthusiasts don't work well for me. Especially with The Ordinary and Paula's Choice, I've been disappointed so many times that I had tons of reasons to hesitate before buying. 2. There were several reasons I was hesitant about purchasing. I've always been an early adopter when it comes to cutting-edge skincare ingredients. Because I started using advanced formulations so early, I've already tried EGF, IGF, and similar ingredients years before major brands even launched them. I tested these when startups were first introducing them as innovative breakthroughs. Since these products weren't from major corporations but from emerging brands with raw material-based formulations, something felt unstable about them. My skin isn't particularly resilient, and it got damaged from overuse, so I wasn't really drawn to these advanced ingredients anymore. 3. That's why I carefully searched through reviews of this product, looking specifically at one thing: whether it caused irritation. When I saw that 9 out of 10 reviews reported no problems, I finally decided to buy it. After applying it for a month, I'm relieved that I haven't experienced any irritation. 4. The reason I'm writing this review is that while using various growth factor ingredients before, I never felt this kind of firmness. Using this product, I'm experiencing skin elasticity for the first time, so I wanted to share my recommendation. 5. The texture is quite lightweight and watery, so there's barely any stickiness. When I first applied it, I thought, "What is this? Is this it?" I was a bit disappointed at first. But after the next day, and the day after that, around a week in, I started noticing something different. After application, my skin felt firmer in a completely different way. I think younger people in their 20s and 30s might not notice this feeling, but anyone over their late 40s will absolutely relate to this experience. 6. I don't use it alone as a standalone serum (I've never preferred applying serums straight), instead I mix it with a hydrating mist spray. I combine it with The Derma Factory's Niacinamide 20% serum (30ml) and The Dermatologist's B5 hydrating ampoule, then spray it on like a toner. However, I didn't specifically buy The Derma Factory's Niacinamide 20% serum to make this toner. I actually bought three bottles of The Derma Factory serum cheaply from Coupang at once, and I'm mixing them together to use them up. I think you could mix any lightweight serum at a similar concentration, like hyaluronic acid serum or niacinamide serum at 5-10% concentration, and it would work just as well. 7. These days, I spray on Wellage toner plus Niacinamide 20% toner, then apply this GF 15% plus Niacinamide 20% plus The Dermatologist's hydrating ampoule toner as a second layer. After that, I add a brightening serum and retinol, then finish with a rich cream for very dry skin, and my skin feels sufficiently hydrated. 8. After using it this way for about a month, I started noticing my face feeling slightly taut with a sense of firmness and elasticity. My pores are less visible too. At first, it felt so tight that I wondered if it was skin inflammation, but it's definitely elasticity, not irritation. 9. If you want to experience skin firmness from a different type of ingredient, I'd encourage you to try this. It's not expensive, and since I have super sensitive skin and haven't experienced any irritation from this ingredient, I think you can feel confident using it. Try using it together with a niacinamide serum. Once my skin adapts and as the weather gets warmer and drier, I'm considering mixing in The Ordinary's Matrixyl for extra hydration. I have no complaints. This has become my absolute favorite product from The Ordinary. - em******Da dầuDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenLỗ chân lông toMẩn đỏĐược đề xuất29/04/2025 (UTC+0)
I use The Ordinary regularly for my oily skin, and honestly, this product ranks among their best when you consider everything—texture, effectiveness, and overall experience. Unlike The Ordinary's typical approach of focusing solely on active ingredients while ignoring how products feel on skin, this formula is surprisingly lightweight and comfortable. The scent is barely noticeable, which is a pleasant surprise. It's a water-like hydrating essence that absorbs quickly without any heaviness. Since this essence is designed for skin renewal, I'm planning to evaluate the results over time, but so far it hasn't irritated my skin or caused any breakouts. Since this isn't one of their main products, it's usually difficult to test at Olive Young. You'll need to visit The Ordinary store directly to try it. As someone with non-sensitive oily skin, here are The Ordinary products I'd genuinely recommend: 1. Lactic Acid, 2. Granactive Retinoid Emulsion, 3. Niacinamide Powder, 4. Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG. Those are my top picks. - 99*****Da thiếu nướcDa mụnLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongLỗ chân lông toĐược đề xuất03/03/2025 (UTC+0)
Why aren't there more reviews? This is such a satisfying product. My skin type is naturally balanced. Think of it as an oil-free hydrating essence, and you'll get the idea. Right after application, I can feel the moisture sinking in beautifully, and layering a cream on top gives me all the hydration I need. The absorption is really impressive too. Since it's a hydrating essence, I can comfortably use it year-round without any issues. Everyone knows EGF is good stuff, and I've used about half the bottle now. Honestly, I haven't noticed any dramatic difference in fine lines, but my skin just looks incredibly radiant. I'm planning to repurchase because I want to keep using this consistently. Since it's a hydrating essence and winter is so dry, I do find myself using it a bit generously. The dropper only fills up to about a third, which could be a dispensing quirk, but since the amount seems sufficient, it doesn't really bother me. Layer it two or three times, and don't forget to apply it to your neck too
