This really helps calm acne. It's lightweight and comes in a convenient size. This is a gel cream with tea tree as the main ingredient. It used to be called a spot gel, but it seems the name changed after the reformulation. Even when it was called a spot gel, I've always applied it thinly across my entire face rather than just on problem areas. Using this won't make existing breakouts disappear. (That's only possible with medicated treatments.) If you have naturally oily skin that tends to get inflamed, this works wonderfully as a preventative product. I reach for it when my skin feels greasy and I can feel a pimple or two starting to form. I still need to moisturize, but I'm hesitant to use my regular cream or essence, so this is perfect for those moments. I apply it after toner, layer a lightweight soothing essence first, then apply this thinly on top. It has a calming effect and keeps excess oil at bay while still providing minimal hydration. Rather than dramatically shrinking individual spots, it's a versatile soothing treatment for larger areas. The texture feels clean and lightweight. I noticed that after about 3 days of use, those larger, inflamed blemishes start to calm down noticeably. I was really interested in the terpineol ingredient, so I decided to give it a try, and I'm genuinely happy with my purchase. I don't have any real complaints. It's definitely a solid acne-fighting product worth recommending, but I can't really speak to how well it works on the intense breakouts that teenagers deal with since I'm dealing with adult acne myself.
