Even though I have sensitive skin, I really love how gentle this product is—it doesn't sting or make my skin feel irritated at all! I've been using it and so far I can't really think of any downsides to mention.

Since it's a derivative formula, you don't have to limit yourself to applying it only at night, and you can use it for longer periods, which is really convenient. Vitamin C serums typically have that yellowish tint, so it's nice that this one doesn't have that issue. The product applies smoothly and I can definitely feel the brightening effect working on my skin. Just like in the photos, when I use this product, my skin gets red and irritated. I applied it with products I've been using for years—a toner and an emulsion—and this product made my skin turn red and itchy. I don't usually have sensitive skin and have never experienced side effects from cosmetics before, so I was really shocked when this happened. Since it's a derivative form, the results take longer to show, and the brightening effect is slower than expected. When you use it alternating days with pure form, the brightening effect really starts to shine.
