I bought this cleansing oil to use every other day since daily use can be harsh on skin. The cleansing power is pretty solid. This cleanser has amazing cleansing power and emulsifies beautifully. It's lightly scented, comes in a convenient tube format, and feels so clean to use. Best of all, it's affordable! I've tried other balms that triggered breakouts, but this one is completely gentle on my skin. I absolutely love it—seriously, please don't discontinue this product! You'll get a better deal if you catch it on sale at Olive Young. It does separate a bit during warmer weather, and it gets a little stiff when it's cold. Try not to leave this in very hot places for long periods. It might melt more easily than you'd like in extreme heat.

Here's my review. Usage period: 3 weeks My skin type: Dry and prone to breakouts Unbeatable value Like I mentioned, this cleansing balm is way cheaper than other brands. I picked it up on sale at Olive Young for around 8,000 won! I'm thrilled it costs less than 10,000 won. Clean, practical packaging I used to use a different cleansing balm brand, and while I loved it, the biggest downside was that it came in a scoop-type container, which felt unhygienic and messy. This product, true to its name, comes in a tube you squeeze, so it's as clean and convenient to use as a cleansing foam. I absolutely adore this! Gentle formula My skin is sensitive and I get breakouts easily, but since using this, I haven't experienced any new breakouts or irritation. The scent is almost completely neutral, and there's zero stinging or harshness when I apply it. It's incredibly gentle! I was worried when I bought it so quickly and at such a low price that it might contain ingredients that would trigger my skin, but not at all. It's so soothing! Cleansing power When it comes to the core function—how well it actually cleanses—I honestly can't tell much difference from my previous brand. The cleansing strength is fantastic. It removes everything from eye makeup to dirt on my skin completely. Oil control As I massage it in, I can feel little bits coming off. That means my excess oil is being lifted away effectively! Honestly, I was surprised because there really aren't any downsides. I'm definitely going to keep using this. I'm so satisfied! If I really had to pick one thing, the tube format does get affected by temperature changes. During summer, when it's hot outside, the product can soften inside the tube, and sometimes when I squeeze it out, the oils separate and come out differently. That's the only thing! But even with that happening, the cleansing works great, so I haven't found it to be a real inconvenience. Since it's summer right now, that's probably why the oils are separating. I'm guessing it'll harden up in winter! The price is really affordable, and since it's from a plant-based brand, I was curious and decided to try it! I have combination skin that's sensitive and prone to oiliness. After wearing makeup for a few hours and cleansing, my skin felt incredibly soft and hydrated. I picked it up for around 8,000 won at the time, and honestly, for something I bought just out of curiosity, I'm absolutely loving it! I've been using it regularly and frequently lately! Even though it's called a cleansing balm, there's something about using it as a first cleanse that leaves an uncomfortable feeling on my skin. I guess it really depends on your skin type though. It just didn't work well for me.
