The coverage is the best I've ever gotten from a cushion compact, and it applies beautifully even when I'm not being careful with application. I'm really happy with how well it works! The coverage is so impressive that I wanted to keep using it, but after I started using this product, my skin barrier completely fell apart. I really wanted to convince myself it wasn't the cushion's fault, but ultimately this was the culprit. If you have sensitive skin, please avoid this at all costs. Photo warning - the second image shows the results after use and skin transformation. I already struggle with scars and large pores, but when I use this with the Bonamuda primer, my skin looks absolutely flawless! Honestly, this is the first cushion foundation that's ever worked this well for me. I really wanted this to work out, but it caused my skin to completely break down - it looks like folliculitis or an allergic reaction. I'm taking medication from my dermatologist and it's still not improving. The only place I noticed any wear was on my nose, and my skin actually looked even better as the day went on. Formula The matte finish delivers excellent coverage, making it perfect for sports events or outdoor activities. I do have dry skin, so I made sure my base was hydrating and well-prepped to prevent any patchiness—the formula works wonderfully for oily skin types though. It's really a great match for that skin type. The only thing I wish was different is that it applies a bit thick, which was slightly disappointing. I've been using this for about a month now, and as someone with dry skin, it's been absolutely perfect for me! The staying power is solid (I use a setting powder), and the coverage is really impressive! Since I have sensitive skin, switching to this cushion caused stubborn breakouts to keep appearing on my face. It also breaks down pretty easily throughout the day, and I wouldn't recommend it for touch-ups. I have combination, acne-prone skin with enlarged pores. My T-zone, under-eye area, nose, and chin tend to get oily. I have visible pores around my nose and under-eye area. I also deal with redness and acne scarring. I usually wear shade 19-20, but I'm currently using the lighter shade 21. (Please apply sunscreen regularly... you'll end up like me if you don't..) The brush that came with the set wasn't convenient, so I only use the puff. No matter what base product I use, I always need to adjust the amount. Medium coverage, medium pore coverage, semi-matte finish. The amount is easy to control and applies thinly. It feels hydrating at first. Since it's not completely matte, it's really easy to work with. Application is super straightforward. For areas with excess oil, I recommend using a primer and powder. It works great for touch-ups too. (I just wipe with a toner pad and reapply when touching up) Honestly, my skin looked even better when I did a touch-up application! Please adjust the amount you're using. If you apply it too thickly, it can settle into areas with fine lines or where you have more muscle movement. This is perfect when you need to do a quick makeup touch-up after being bare-faced all day. It applies beautifully! I really recommend using a toner pad for touch-ups. It does a great job concealing blemishes and redness, and the skin looks so smooth and flawless that it really lives up to the "High Coverage" name. Wear Time & Longevity The adhesion is fantastic, so it doesn't break down easily! It doesn't get all messy and melt into your skin with oil buildup, which is absolutely amazing! What Could Be Better Amount Control You really need to be careful with how much product you use—seriously, this is crucial! If you're not careful, it can look thick and feel heavy on the skin. The best approach is to apply it in thin layers with gentle tapping motions. Nose Creasing This is one of the more frustrating aspects. No matter how thinly you apply it or what you do, after some time passes, you'll notice the product settling and creasing around the nose area. Please apply it in very thin, light layers.
