Face skin type: dehydrated oily, small breakouts on forehead, chin, and cheeks, sensitive, prone to redness. Body skin type: dry on arms and legs. Ingredients to avoid: natural oils like lavender oil and orange peel oil. Note: I use the Biplane mung bean cleansing oil, which works best for me. Skin tone: cool winter undertone, shade 22, significant redness so I use neutral-toned foundation. What I love: dark circles disappear naturally. I usually tap it on with a sponge and there's no creasing. Unless I find something better, I'm sticking with this product. I really loved how hydrating, lightweight, and sheer this applies! It has a smooth texture and blends beautifully into the skin without any pilling or shifting throughout the day. The only downside is that the coverage is honestly minimal. 01 Salmon True to its nickname as a transparent concealer, this base provides natural-looking color correction. Don't expect it to work like a full-coverage corrector though! The shade is actually deeper than I expected, but it works wonderfully on dark under-eye circles for evening out skin tone. It also does a great job neutralizing redness around the nose area naturally, making it super versatile for everyday use. Since this is an eye primer, don't expect heavy-duty concealing power like you'd get from a dedicated concealer. Hydration It's even more hydrating than I expected, and the formula feels incredibly lightweight. You get that perfect moisture without any greasy residue. This concealer truly doesn't settle into fine lines! Even though my skin is oily, I have dryness under my eyes and serious dark circles, so every concealer I've tried felt heavy and cakey. But this one applies so beautifully and looks fresh. On my shade 22 skin, it looks incredibly natural and sheer, so I think it would work great on other skin tones too. When I blend it with Luna Concealer in Salmon, it's absolutely perfect—I'm genuinely recommending this. I'm definitely going to buy the purple shade next. When used alone, the coverage isn't great—honestly, it's almost nonexistent. Since I have severe dark circles, I use another concealer, but this one is really helpful when other concealers feel too dry or apply too thickly. It's also good for covering minor discoloration around the eye area. I wouldn't recommend applying it with your fingers—using a damp beauty sponge gives the best results. This is my holy grail product.

But after trying the VDL Expert Color Under Eye Primer myself, I discovered it has such a hydrating formula that it covers dark circles beautifully without any creasing—thin, lightweight, and seamlessly blended. Now it's become my go-to concealer for dark circle coverage! Because it's a hydrating, thin, and lightweight concealer that adheres so smoothly, it's absolutely perfect for the delicate under-eye area, which tends to get dry and can show makeup separation. It honestly feels like you're applying a nourishing lash serum to your eyes—that's how moisturizing this concealer is. The shade I use is 01 Salmon, which I'd describe as a beige with warm, peachy undertones. It brightens the darker under-eye area beautifully, and because you can blend it out widely and use it almost like a foundation, it's such a versatile shade. What I love most about this concealer is how it delivers excellent dark circle coverage while staying hydrating, lightweight, and sheer. That's honestly what won me over! I honestly haven't found any real drawbacks. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the coverage does improve when you use a puff applicator along with it.
