- Lather and Feel The cleanser produces a rich, luxurious lather and rinses away beautifully. While it doesn't leave skin feeling squeaky-clean, there's no slipperiness or residue, and best of all, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry after washing. I experienced zero irritation. - Cleansing Power Since I have oily, congestion-prone skin and I'm careful about removing impurities, I was pleasantly surprised by how effective this gentle formula is for oily skin types. It's not one of those harsh, super-absorbent products. When removing makeup, I use it as a second cleanse after a cleansing water or oil, and it does an amazing job lifting away foundation residue from enlarged pores and indented scars. It also effectively removes any slickness left behind from the cleansing oil. I felt it wasn't quite enough for managing sebum and deep pore impurities, so I've been alternating it with a more powerful purifying cleanser.

If you're sensitive to fragrance, I wouldn't recommend this. The scent is really off-putting for me. This product feels incredibly smooth and has a subtle, pleasant grain-like scent that I really appreciate. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight or parched at all, and it genuinely seems to calm and soothe any irritation I might have. I honestly can't find a single thing wrong with this product—I'm completely satisfied with it. I've always had good luck with fermented skincare products, so I decided to give this one a try. It's really gentle on my skin, and I love that it's made with natural grains—the ingredient list is impressive. Plus, it cleanses beautifully without any hassle. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this. At first, I thought it was fine, but the more I used it, the more I realized it just wasn't right for my skin. It seems to cause that irritated, reactive feeling that sometimes happens when fermented products don't agree with you.

My skin type: combination with occasional breakouts. It's pH-balanced, and even though you don't need much product, the lather is seriously impressive. If you're sensitive to fragrance, this might not be your thing. It contains fermented rice bran, and honestly, the scent reminds me of being inside a bottle of makgeolli (Korean rice wine). If you actually love that smell, you'll be totally fine with it. After cleansing, my skin feels calm, hydrated, and comfortable, so I've added this to my stockpile list for when apps like Hwahae have sales. The best part? There's literally nothing disappointing about this product. I used to just grab whatever foam cleanser was available, but once my skin turned dry, I couldn't use just anything anymore. My face would feel so tight and uncomfortable after washing... I started looking for something more hydrating and ended up getting this one. What I love is that it keeps my skin feeling moisturized even after cleansing, and my skin feels so much more comfortable. I keep repurchasing it. 1. Even with dry skin, my face feels hydrated after washing. 2. It creates a rich, luxurious lather. 3. The formula is really gentle and nourishing. 1. The price point. I'm happy with it because I bought it during a sale, but at full price, it does feel a bit expensive. 2. The grain-based scent might not be for everyone. Personally, I'm fine with it. Definitely grab it when it goes on sale!

First off, even a tiny amount creates an amazing lather. I used to think that pH-balanced cleansers don't foam well, but this one produces such a rich, luxurious foam. Plus, after cleansing, my skin feels calm and comfortable with zero irritation. Since I have sensitive skin, my complexion usually gets blotchy and red after cleansing, but that's never happened with this product. It contains fermented koji, and it has a distinctive earthy scent with hints of toasted grain flour that some might find off-putting. Honestly, after using it a couple of times, I got used to it and actually enjoy it now, but I can definitely see how others might not be fans of this particular fragrance.

It's gentle on the skin with zero irritation, and the fragrance is absolutely lovely. My only wish is that this cleansing foam didn't leave my skin feeling a bit dry after washing.

I'm definitely making this cleansing foam my go-to product. Since it's not from a super well-known brand, I'm worried it might get discontinued. I picked this up because the ingredients are clean and the price is so affordable, and I'm really happy with it! My skin is sensitive, but I haven't experienced any irritation at all. It doesn't feel tight, and it cleanses really effectively. The scent isn't my favorite. Every time I use it, there's an odd chemical smell that comes through. I'm using this for cleansing both morning and night.
