I've always been drawn to powdery, heavier fragrances, so I was actively searching for a perfume with that same rich, intense scent profile. The sales associate handed me a fragrance blotter to try, and honestly, I wasn't immediately impressed. I casually tucked it into my bag without giving it much thought. But that night, lying at home, the most beautiful scent started wafting softly through my room from my bag. The very next day, I brought the blotter back and purchased it without hesitation. The subtle gardenia and neroli notes create such a fresh, uplifting experience that extends from my hair throughout my entire surroundings. It's absolutely perfect for spritzing on during sunny spring and summer days, and it's equally wonderful as a mood-boosting pick-me-up after a shower. While people say it works beautifully for everyone regardless of gender, I've noticed women respond to it especially well. The case itself is so luxurious and collectible with its elegant rectangular bottle design. This is my first Van Cleef and Arpels fragrance, and it's the one that introduced me to the brand.
The case is quite heavy, which is a drawback since the fragrance doesn't last very long and requires me to carry it around. Having it in my bag makes it feel burdensome. Additionally, the paper sticker attached to the case gets damaged easily when it gets wet.
