This cleanser is super gentle and won't irritate your skin. The only thing is it doesn't remove excess oil, so on days when my skin gets really oily, I switch to something stronger. It's perfect for a daily cleanser on makeup-free days. When I do wear makeup or sunscreen, I use a cleansing balm first, then follow up with this as my second cleanse. I have dehydrated, sensitive skin that lacks moisture even in summer. I used the Vegan Effect barley cleanser for about 2 years, but when I wiped it off with a toner pad, I felt like it wasn't cleansing properly. First of all, it's just as hydrating as the vegan cleanser, and the cleansing power is even better, so I'm satisfied with it so far. I only wear sunscreen, but even when I cleanse on days I apply it generously, I feel like residue is left behind. What I love about it: - It has a rich, creamy white formula - The tube dispenses smoothly with just a gentle squeeze (even though it's new, it doesn't feel stiff) - It creates a dense, luxurious lather - True to its name, it's packed with hyaluronic acid and leaves my skin feeling incredibly hydrated after cleansing Honestly, I've never really felt that "hydrating" quality from a cleanser before. I've tried cleansing oils, balms, gels, and milks, but with those hydrating formulas, I could never quite tell if my skin was actually clean, if the product was rinsing off properly, or if that slippery feeling was just leftover residue versus actual moisture. This is the first time I've experienced that deep, genuine hydration from within, and it's exactly what I was looking for. Since I don't wear heavy makeup these days, this level of cleansing power is more than enough for me. Plus, the generous size means I'll be using this for quite a while and I'm really happy with it. The only downside is the scent. It's honestly not pleasant. It has this metallic smell, or maybe it's the raw hyaluronic acid scent? I appreciate that it doesn't use artificial fragrances, which is a good sign, but I do think a pleasant fragrance during cleansing can be part of the whole self-care experience. - It lathers beautifully and has solid cleansing power too~ - You get so much product in one bottle - It leaves my skin feeling dry. Since it's labeled as a hyaluronic acid line, I expected it to be hydrating, or at least not drying. But it is! At first I thought maybe it was a slightly alkaline cleanser, but that doesn't seem to be the case either (and I don't even have dry skin, yet I still felt that tightness) - The packaging is really inconvenient! The bottle doesn't have a pump dispenser, so by the time you're almost done with it, the container gets all crinkled and wrinkled, making it super hard to use

I was looking for a cleanser that would effectively remove impurities without leaving my skin feeling tight and dry, and this product delivers on all fronts. The creamy formula provides excellent cleansing power while keeping my skin feeling hydrated and comfortable. Formula type: Cream-based. Cleansing power: Excellent. Recommended for: All skin types. There's really nothing to complain about. The thin opening on the tube makes it super easy to control how much product I dispense each time, which is a nice touch.
