It feels so smooth and creamy when you apply it, like you're giving your skin a luxurious treatment. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with dry skin. The cleansing power feels a bit weak for me. I used this pack cleanser without wetting my face first—I just applied it directly, massaged it in, and rinsed it off. It looks like it has little granules in it, but I really appreciated that it wasn't harsh like a scrub would be. Plus, the subtle lavender scent was lovely. To be honest, this product highlighted more drawbacks than benefits for me. First, my face feels way too slippery after cleansing. I prefer cleansers that leave my skin feeling clean and tight, with that satisfying sense that impurities have been removed—so the slick residue this left behind wasn't appealing to me at all. Second, and this should go without saying, it didn't remove heavy makeup completely. Even on days when I only wore light foundation, I found myself wondering if it actually got everything off. That made me question whether it's really doing its job as a cleanser. Finally, while it's marketed as a pack cleanser, I'm not convinced it delivers any real advantage over a regular cleanser. Skin Type: Dehydrated and dry with occasional oiliness on the forehead, persistent dryness in the U-zone, minimal pores, slight blackheads, occasional small breakouts on the forehead, between brows, and under the chin, sensitive skin prone to atopic reactions, minimal freckles. Application and Absorption: This is a basic foam cleansing mask type. Moisture Content: Ho Ho Bender (purple) > Avocado (yellow) > Strawberry (pink) > Mugwort (green) in order of hydration. Since all four are mask formulas, they all felt hydrating, but Ho Ho Bender (purple) kept my skin feeling the most moisturized even after cleansing. If you have dry skin, I'd definitely recommend Ho Ho Bender for the most nourishing experience. Breakouts: Completely trouble-free and gentle on skin. Ingredients: The panthenol and niacinamide work together to keep skin hydrated and soothed. Among the four masks, Ho Ho Bender (purple) with panthenol was the best match for my skin. Since it's a foam cleansing mask, it can feel dry if you leave it on too long. About 1-2 minutes seems to be the sweet spot. Also, the price is quite steep, which is why I had to deduct a star. This hydrating formula seems perfect for winter use, and the mask brush applies beautifully. I love that you can let it sit on your skin for a few minutes to get a mask-like treatment before rinsing, which is such a convenient bonus. It stings quite a bit if it gets in your eyes, so I'd definitely recommend using a dedicated eye makeup remover or cleansing water to take off eye makeup instead of relying on this product alone for that delicate area.

The lavender scent is subtle and delicate, and I'm really impressed with how well it cleanses and hydrates my skin. I don't really have any complaints! The subtle fragrance is lovely and really lifts my mood. Using this cleanser feels like a little mood boost during my skincare routine, so it's definitely a feel-good product to receive as a gift! I think I had too high expectations since this product gets so much advertising and buzz online. It's decent enough and pretty for the price, but I didn't really feel any standout benefits beyond that. The jar packaging is inconvenient, and the fluffy cleansing foam that looks so full when you buy it actually shrinks down inside the container over time. About the pack cleanser - honestly, I can't really use it as a mask. I have three different types of pack cleansers at home, and they all have different textures. It's awkward and unclear how to apply it as a mask. Compared to other pH-balanced cleansing foams I use, this one felt a bit more irritating. My skin sensitivity isn't usually an issue, but my complexion seemed slightly off, so there might be an ingredient that doesn't work for me. It seems gentle on the surface, but if you have sensitive skin, I'd definitely recommend testing it first before committing to a purchase. I actually preferred the scrub version over the cleanser! I'm thinking about trying the new body scrub and body butter they just released!

I received this pack cleanser set as a gift and have been using it. I've finished the Mugtree Avocado and I'm currently using the Hohovendor, and it seems to be the best of the three. First of all, I loved that none of the three products felt tight or uncomfortable on my skin, but the Hohovendor is the gentlest, so I'm really enjoying using it. I tried using this as a pack mask since it's called a pack cleanser, but it's actually a product that works well as a cleanser even with a small amount. When I tried applying it as a pack, even with a thin layer, I found myself washing it off all day long, so I stopped using it as a pack.
