Houttuynia cordata is absolutely amazing for calming irritated skin. I especially reach for it during my period, or those days when I've had a few drinks and skipped my cleanse. The ingredient is so effective, and the price is incredibly reasonable with a generous size, so I can use it without worrying about waste. Since it's gentle and non-irritating, it works beautifully as an exfoliating toner or sheet mask treatment. Even though it has a lightweight, water-like texture, once you apply it, it feels substantial and absorbs quickly without leaving any residue. It settles into your skin and stays there, which is perfect. The best part is it doesn't feel sticky at all, making it ideal as a hydrating essence in your first skincare step. The subtle herbal scent of houttuynia is so reassuring to use. Honestly, the fragrance is absolutely lovely. The bottle opening design is a bit awkward, so product does tend to pour out a bit too generously, which is my only complaint. I'd definitely recommend it as an exfoliating toner or sheet mask product, but since it has a water-like consistency, using it straight from the bottle is a little inconvenient. I'd suggest investing in a mist spray bottle to make application easier. I picked this up during a welcome deal promotion for just three dollars, and I loved it so much that I'm definitely repurchasing. If you're like me, I'd recommend getting a fine mist spray bottle and keeping it in your bathroom. Just spray it right after cleansing, and you'll see the difference. The fine mist means faster absorption and no dryness afterward, so I really can't recommend it enough. I've always been told I have great skin, but as I've gotten older, it's become unavoidably dry. What I love about Wad Skin Heartleaf Toner is how quickly it absorbs into my skin, and the hydration truly lasts. I'm really impressed with the results. Before, as I aged, I always had to apply a rich serum after cleansing and toning, but now I just layer this toner twice and get the same nourishing effect. I haven't used it long enough to say for certain, but so far there's nothing negative to report. If you're looking at value for money, I'd definitely recommend it. For the best results with toner, apply it once and let it fully absorb into your skin, then apply a second layer. This product is packed with active ingredients and comes in a generous size, so the price point feels really reasonable. The lightweight, water-like texture makes it super versatile - you can spray it on like a mist or use it as a pack. The application experience could be better. It feels a bit sticky both when I'm applying it and after it dries.
