The application is smooth and easy to blend. However, it's a bit tricky to wash off completely, and it leaves a slippery feel on the skin. I purchased this in October, and the expiration date is May of next year. So I've been using a cotton swab to apply it, but honestly, the formula is really hard to spread that way. I can't really use my hands because of hygiene concerns, and while the jar packaging looks nice, I think a tube format would actually be way more practical and easier to use.
