I have oily skin, but this product has a rich texture that really helps lock in moisture beautifully. The formula is quite thick and leaves a white cast, so it requires careful blending to spread evenly. I wish it were a bit lighter in texture. This product keeps my skin so hydrated and the scent is absolutely wonderful. I've been using it for 5 years now! Is it just me who loves this? I struggled with severe breakouts, but after using this product, my skin finally settled down. I didn't have acne-prone skin before, but when I moved to Korea, my face got overwhelmed by fine dust pollution. I started using this and I'm already on my fifth bottle. Since it's a natural product, I feel confident using it. Whenever I use oils, my face immediately turns red and breakouts appear, but this one with aromatic oils doesn't cause that at all. It feels lightweight and comfortable when applied, with a smooth, skin-hugging sensation. My skin feels so hydrated. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey. But since it's a natural product, I figure it's worth it and keep using it. I have combination skin and I can definitely feel this product delivering the hydration my skin needs. If you have oily skin, this might feel too heavy and greasy, so I find myself hesitant to reach for it. It's truly an excellent moisturizer in terms of how well it hydrates your skin. The texture doesn't absorb immediately when you apply it. Instead, it gradually turns white and sits on the surface. This is actually a product that requires some patience—you need to massage it in with rolling motions for a while to help it absorb properly. My skin tends to be on the dry side, but this product doesn't feel tight or uncomfortable after application. Plus, the tube format makes it really convenient to use. The spreadability isn't great, so instead of smoothing it on, you have to dab and pat it onto your skin.

First of all, it really locks in moisture effectively. Even if I apply it just once in the morning, I can get through a dry office environment with just a mist or two and my skin stays hydrated all the way until my evening cleanse. When I apply it before bed, there's no dryness by morning either. The application texture felt really unfamiliar at first, but once I got the hang of gently tapping and pressing it in, it absorbs beautifully and leaves my skin feeling plump and firm. I've also noticed that using this product has significantly reduced my breakouts! The application is tricky because it doesn't contain silicone, so it doesn't spread smoothly. My friend tried it and was so confused she asked if it was actually a cream or sunscreen, because when you rub it, instead of absorbing, it just spreads in the direction you're rubbing it. Don't rub it on! Instead, dab small amounts all over your face and gently tap it in with your fingertips, and it absorbs really well that way!

The product keeps sitting on top of my skin in white patches. You definitely need patience with this one. Absorption: I have to tap and pat repeatedly to get it to absorb into my skin. It takes time. Moisture: The hydration is actually pretty decent. There's a slight feeling of heaviness on the surface, but it does help with deep dryness underneath. That said, for the price point, the value for money isn't great. I didn't experience any breakouts. My main concerns are the poor absorption and the price tag. Plus, my skin feels a bit congested. If you mix in a drop or two of plant-based oil or another product from your collection, it helps with absorption and boosts the moisturizing benefits. I'd recommend applying it at night because it can feel heavy under makeup!
