My skin feels so hydrated and plump! I actually use this product twice - once as an exfoliating toner and once for that satisfying absorption. Then I layer it with a squalane cream and use an intensive barrier repair on my eye area since it gets extra dry. Even though my skin tends to be dry in summer, this keeps it from feeling parched. After I wash my face in the morning, I can really feel how dewy and bouncy my skin becomes! I think this would work great as an essence too. It's not disappointing exactly... but I wish the particles were finer. If they came out with versions specifically for exfoliating toner and essence, I'd switch everything over to those. It's wonderful for troubled skin, and when I apply it before bed and wake up the next morning, my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth. True to its name, it's a toner, but the texture feels more like an essence when you apply it. My skin is both dry and sensitive, and I love how it soothes my skin right after cleansing. I'm already on my third bottle! Since it's an essence-type toner, it's not as lightweight as a regular toner. It's annoying to repurchase it every time, so I wish they offered a larger size option. The scent is lovely, and it works beautifully when used like an essence. If you're expecting a cleansing toner that removes impurities, you might find this one disappointing. When I applied it, it didn't run down like a regular toner does. Since it's a toner and essence all-in-one, my skin felt hydrated just from using the toner alone. It also helped reduce dry patches and my complexion looked noticeably brighter. If you're only using a small amount, just pump it gently. It has such an essence-like texture. I originally bought a toner to spray on, and I'd use a separate serum or essence, but after getting this, I've just been using this one product alone. My skin tends to feel tight right after cleansing because it's dehydrated, but when I apply this, it instantly feels so hydrated and moisturized, which I love. The pump dispenser is really convenient, and while the bottle looked small at first, since the formula is more like a concentrated liquid rather than watery, it seems like it'll last surprisingly long. The only thing I wish was different is that the container is opaque. When you can't see inside, it's frustrating because you can't tell how much product is left. I'd love it if they redesigned it with a clear container. Also, if the price were just a bit more affordable, that would be even better.
