When I apply oil products before sleeping, I end up with breakouts on my face and the back of my neck, which is frustrating. During the day when I wash my hair, I use a strongly scented oil instead. What I really appreciate is that after applying this product and drying my hair, it doesn't feel heavy and becomes beautifully soft. Plus, it doesn't leave my hands feeling sticky. I used to absolutely love another brand, but the price was hard to justify, so I switched to this as an alternative. It works great, so I'm definitely planning to repurchase once I finish this bottle. The scent is hard to describe—it's kind of like a fresh vanilla fragrance. Since it doesn't leave a lingering smell in my hair, I don't worry too much about it and just enjoy using the product. Honestly, there's nothing bad about it. It works perfectly fine, so I just hope they don't discontinue it. I'd recommend this to anyone who prefers hair emulsions in the evening. I've been using this product for years and I always recommend it to everyone around me. I apply it before blow-drying, and it's amazing how my hair goes from feeling dry and brittle to having this nice, fuller body to it. The product doesn't sit on top of my hair at all—it absorbs beautifully and completely. I've tried other products out of curiosity, but nothing compares, so I always come back to this one. Even when I apply it all the way to the roots and dry my hair, it doesn't feel greasy at all. Because it works so well, I end up using it generously, which means I go through it pretty quickly. I've been doing at-home hair coloring every 1-2 months for over a year, and my hair ends were completely fried. I've tried so many different hair serums, oils, and treatments, but I always come back to Evo Roche Jojoba Repair Fortifying Hair Serum. First of all, the scent is absolutely amazing, and even though it's called a serum, the emulsion formula makes it so easy to apply. It absorbs into my hair quickly, and after drying, there's zero stickiness or greasy residue—the feel is just perfect. Since it's designed for severely damaged hair, on days I use this product, my hair feels incredibly soft. Even when I brush it, there's no tugging or resistance at all. I heard they reformulated it, but I stocked up on the old version before the update, so I'm still using that. Once I finish my current supply, I'm definitely going to try the new formula. The only downside is that because it comes in a pump bottle, it's really hard to use every last drop. When you're almost done with the bottle, even if the pump stops dispensing the serum, just remove the pump and flip the bottle upside down to shake out the remaining product—you'll be surprised how much comes out! Try flipping it over, removing the pump, and shaking it out to get the most out of your product.
