I absolutely love this foundation cushion that I've been using constantly. I got a foundation sample when I purchased it, and I was so satisfied after trying it that I bought the full product. Since I have dry skin, nothing usually adheres well no matter what I apply, but this one is absolutely perfect. 1. Packaging The design is so beautiful... Yves Saint Laurent really nails their packaging aesthetic. The gold logo around the lid makes my heart skip a beat. 2. Application It has a slightly thin consistency but feels bouncy and elastic. When I apply it, it goes on incredibly sheer, and even when I'm clumsy with the puff and tap it all over the place, it looks just as flawless as if I'd used a brush. 3. Coverage Medium to medium-high coverage. I've been dealing with some minor breakouts lately which stresses me out, but this covers them beautifully. It also corrects redness really well! 4. Finish It feels dewy when I first apply it, but becomes more powdery as time goes on. I personally love that matte, powdery skin finish, so I usually set it with a base and powder, which works great for me. 5. Longevity It lasts much longer than a typical cushion. I use foundation for my full makeup and only use the cushion for touch-ups throughout the day. 6. Scent It has that signature powdery fragrance that Yves Saint Laurent bases are known for. It's not overwhelming at all, so it doesn't bother me when I'm applying my base. 1. Creasing and Separation Since I have dry skin and I love that powdery finish, I notice that as time passes, the areas around my cheeks and forehead where there's less oil start to look a bit patchy and separated. If you have dry skin, try mixing it with a hydrating sunscreen before applying. My complexion looks radiant and feels so naturally smooth and breathable—I'm genuinely thrilled with how it performs. This foundation is a total game-changer for my skin. It grips to my face beautifully, gives me that radiant, glowing complexion, and fades so naturally throughout the day. I've tried around twenty foundations in my lifetime, but this one is hands down the best. It's my number one pick. The 25ml size feels a bit small to me. I wish they offered a 30ml option instead so it would last longer.

Powder foundation definitely has better staying power than cushion compacts, and you get more product for your money, so the value is really impressive. It does feel a bit dry on the skin, and the price is pretty steep. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't cause any irritation, which is amazing. My mom uses it too and loves it, so I'm really happy with it. You know how moms always pick the best products! Honestly, I can't think of any real downsides. If you have oily skin, I absolutely recommend this. My skin tends to get oily in summer and dry in winter, but this foundation was perfect for summer use. It does break down a bit as the day goes on, but it breaks down beautifully, and a quick tap with the cushion applicator fixes it right up. The coverage is a touch light, but I'm really happy with how it evens out my skin tone and how well it adheres to the skin. The coverage is a bit sheer, but I use a concealer so it's not a problem for me.
