I absolutely loved this warm-toned Confidence shade - it was such a staple for me! The scent was amazing, and it applied so smoothly and hydratingly. It was truly my holy grail product, and I really wish I'd stocked up before they discontinued it. It's gone... I can't believe they discontinued it though. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and even with multiple applications, there's no flaking or patchiness. I'm really impressed with how beautiful it looks! After eating, the product only stayed on the inner part of my lips and faded away easily. It glides on smoothly without any sticky feeling. The compact is absolutely gorgeous. The color is stunning. The fragrance isn't really my thing. Plus, the tint keeps leaking from the case. The staying power is disappointingly short.

But this one totally surprised me in the best way! It has that gorgeous water-tint finish that looks incredibly natural, and it makes my lips look like my actual lips, just better. The deep undertone is rich without being heavy or muddy, which is exactly what I want in a lip tint. This is an honest review, not a sponsored post, but a real experience. Skin tone: I'm not sure about seasonal undertones, but I just know I'm warm-toned (using shade 21) Lip tone: My 29-year-old lips have seen better days. They look like dried-out raisins. I received this as a birthday gift two years ago and I still can't forget it. When I apply this, my lips literally glow. They look like honey-glazed peaches. My lips feel plump and full, like a perfectly ripe peach. I use this every day in these situations: 1. When I'm doing minimal makeup or just wearing sunscreen before heading out 2. When I catch my reflection at home and look like a zombie, and I want to look alive again 3. When I've already gotten into bed and my boyfriend suddenly shows up at my door Since the Submerged Coral shade is naturally sheer, you'll need to layer it multiple times if you want a more vibrant coral color. 1. One layer looks barely there, but at least my lips don't look lifeless anymore. 2. Two layers give a subtle coral tint with a youthful, fresh appearance. Baby lips are naturally so plump and pretty without any product. I wish I could go back to being one year old. 3. Three layers give a balanced coral with a glossy finish. People might think glossy means dewy, but I found it a bit sticky. 4. I haven't tried four layers because I really hate sticky products. I'd recommend this to you if: You don't mind spending around 50,000 won on a lip product, You're looking for a tinted lip balm with color payoff, You love a delicate, natural look, You prefer light makeup in general, You have time to reapply throughout the day, You have other lip products to layer and combine with this one, etc. I'd suggest testing this in-store first if: You want bold, vibrant color, You have a deeper skin tone, You apply it in the morning and don't check a mirror until evening (you might be disappointed with the longevity), You prioritize a long-wearing, transfer-proof formula, etc. Honestly, this is just my personal opinion, so I really recommend testing it in-store before buying. To sum it up, I thought my holy grail tint was only Armani Lip Magnet shade 300, but now Yves Saint Laurent Beauty Water Stain in Submerged Coral has become my holy grail tint number two. By the way, where can I even buy this product? It seems like international shipping is my only option. The longevity isn't great, I'll admit that. But I'm definitely repurchasing anyway. I can't give up these delicate, peachy lips. If you're thinking "buying this tint might be an experiment," don't spend your own money on it. Ask someone close to you to gift it to you instead. I like to apply a long-wearing tinted lip product with good adhesion in a sheer layer first, then gently layer the Yves Saint Laurent Water Stain in Submerged Coral on top.

This lip product delivers a beautifully hydrated finish with a gorgeous glossy shine. The color glides onto your lips like a watercolor wash, creating a natural, effortless look that feels fresh and full. You get that plump, voluminous lip effect that just makes you feel amazing. Honestly, this is such a holy grail product for me that I've already gone through three tubes of this shade alone! The only heartbreak is that the Waterstain line has been discontinued.
