My skin became incredibly sensitive due to steroid-induced damage, and I mean really, truly sensitive! There were so many times when even gentle baby emulsions didn't work for me, but this product is absolutely amazing! Since I have dry skin, using this alone does feel a bit tight, but when I layer a cream on top, it's perfect! It feels so hydrating and lightweight with zero irritation, making it ideal for daily use. I actually used this for years, switched to something else, but those products were either too heavy or caused breakouts, so I came right back to this one. Seriously, if you have sensitive skin like me, you have to try this! Just a heads up though, if you have dry skin, using it alone might feel too drying. But if you have oily skin, you should be fine using it on its own! Honestly, if this ever gets discontinued, I'm stocking up on 50 bottles... The formula is a lightweight gel-cream with minimal oil content and a focus on hydration. It can be used alone in summer, though it might feel a bit dry for very dehydrated skin. It absorbs within 3 minutes of application, and while there's some tackiness, it's minimal. Generally works well for my skin, but I skip it when my barrier is severely compromised or right after professional treatments like fractional laser or radiofrequency, as it can feel slightly irritating then. I use it alongside a soothing cream for extra hydration and calming benefits, which really stabilizes my skin. I apply the moisturizer first, then the soothing product.
