Honestly, this is so gentle and non-irritating. When you apply it, your complexion brightens noticeably without any irritation. The texture spreads beautifully, and there's barely any excess oil production. The only downside is that the hydration feels really lacking. You can definitely feel your skin getting quite dry underneath. I wish they'd add more moisturizing ingredients that deliver that dewy, hydrated feeling. With my sensitive, reactive skin, I can't use other products. Pimprobe Red Cream is the only one that doesn't trigger irritation for me. I'm disappointed that it doesn't address my dryness. Finding a complementary product that can help tackle the dryness is something I'm still working on.

I'm writing this review here since Red was the only option available at Hwaehae! I used to use the one with the dark blue lettering on the packaging. I first tried it after getting a prescription from my dermatologist, and I loved it so much that I've been using it ever since. It's a cream, but it doesn't feel overly greasy at all—it provides just the right amount of hydration, which is exactly what I needed. You know how using the wrong cream can trigger breakouts? Well, this one actually helps calm my skin instead! I'm absolutely obsessed with it. This is my go-to cream for winter, and I highly recommend it! I really don't have any complaints. I've been using it for quite a while now, and it's still amazing!

Honestly, I didn't feel like it was doing much for me personally. Before this, I had a solid routine where I'd use an exfoliating toner to manage oil and dead skin, followed by a zinc serum and soothing cream to finish my skincare. But using just this product at night? My face became incredibly oily. Even with my regular routine, I tend to have some shine, but that night my face felt like an oil slick. I'm planning to go back to my original routine. I'm sure this works great for some people, but since controlling oil and calming breakouts are my priorities, I can't justify using a product that only focuses on barrier repair when my skin is already so oily. Plus, it's quite pricey. I might use it when the weather gets cooler, so I'm holding onto it for now. Even though it's a cream, the finish feels powdery and matte, so I only use it in the morning paired with an oil-based sunscreen. I have extremely sensitive skin and struggled to get other emulsions to settle properly on my complexion. But this emulsion is genuinely amazing—I can feel my skin calming down the moment I apply it. The formula is beautifully simple and clean, and it's honestly become my holy grail product alongside my favorite moisturizing cream. Honestly, there's nothing bad about it. I really hope you keep producing this for a long time. If I absolutely had to find a flaw, the only thing I'd mention is the price point.
