I love how this works wonderfully for sensitive skin - it really seems to have a soothing effect that I can actually feel It feels like it washes away too quickly, and I'm not getting much lather or foam from it

It's perfect for my double cleanse routine with the houttuynia cordata. The downside of this soap is that you really need a lather net! When you're almost done with it, the texture just becomes mushy and disappointing. You can get so much more use out of it if you use a lather net! The formula creates a rich, luxurious lather that stays put without dripping, making it perfect for a relaxing foam mask treatment. I've had great success with the silkworm cocoon pore mask in the past, and my skin usually responds well to centella asiatica, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I started breaking out with small bumps, and I'm not sure why. I switched cleansers thinking that might be the culprit, but the breakouts persisted. I bought this to use instead of body wash in the shower, and I'm really happy with it I was using it on my body and also on my face at the same time, but after using it for a while, I started getting small bumps on my face, so I stopped using it there If you have oily skin, I'd recommend avoiding this on your face

One minor thing is that the string occasionally loosens when I rub it to create lather, but it's not really inconvenient. Heart Rich Lather This soap produces excellent lather. Whether I use it with the mesh net or on its own, the lather comes out beautifully every time. Heart Hydrating Finish I was worried the refreshing pore-cleansing soap might leave my skin feeling tight, so I chose the hydrating soothing soap instead, and I'm so glad I did. My skin feels much more moisturized and doesn't have that uncomfortable taut sensation. I don't experience that uncomfortable tight, flaky feeling anymore. (Though I'm not sure how it would work for very dry skin types.) I really enjoy the subtle fragrance—it's not overpowering at all. The cleansing performance is solid too. Overall, it's a reliable, no-fuss soap. Honestly, I'm even more impressed with the complimentary Centella and Hyaluronic Acid product that came with it. Warning Lather Consistency The lather formula is light and smooth, but when I work it between my hands a few times, it becomes slightly sticky and dense. I actually prefer that texture, but having to do this every single time feels tedious. If I skip that step and just use it as-is, the lather can feel a bit rough and dry. (Everyone's experience might differ, so you'd really need to try it yourself to see.) Warning Soothing Effect I'm honestly not sure if the soothing benefits are working. Given that I work in a less-than-ideal environment, that could be a factor, but I was really hoping for noticeable improvement. The results just aren't there, which is disappointing considering the price point. The formula is so gentle and effective that I can use it even when my skin is sensitive or prone to breakouts without any stinging sensation. I really appreciate how it creates just the right amount of lather. When I've applied BB cream or sunscreen, the cleansing power feels a bit underwhelming. For my evening skincare routine, I think it works wonderfully as a second cleanse after using a foam cleanser.
