It definitely has a soothing effect, and it really helps calm inflamed breakouts. The scent is pretty divisive though, so you might love it or hate it depending on your preferences. I did notice it can feel a bit stingy when I use it sometimes, so I'd recommend patch testing it first to see how your skin reacts. The price point is quite steep, and I'm honestly not sure if the results are worth the investment if you're planning to use it long-term.

I couldn't find anything good about it... I bought it based on reviews and was completely disappointed Starting from the third day after using it, my cheeks and jawline turned bright red, so I stopped using it. The redness has calmed down a bit now, but it's still quite noticeable. If you have sensitive skin, I'd recommend skipping this product

I used it alongside the Zymogen houttuynia cordata serum and the results were fantastic! Compared to other toning pads, this one is much gentler on the skin. When I apply it like a mask to problem areas and gently wipe it away, the irritation calms down so quickly. Other pads have an embossed texture on one side, but the Zymogen pad has the same smooth surface on both sides and feels a bit thin. After wiping one side of my face, the pad loses its moisture, so when I move to the other side, it doesn't feel hydrating enough. After cleansing, my skin feels purified and refreshed, and I can actually see my rough, bumpy texture gradually smoothing out. I use it to sweep across my face before toner to cleanse and calm everything down, and it really makes a difference! For the price, the amount of exfoliating pads feels a bit skimpy. I've also found it works wonderfully as a spot treatment. I've been using this houttuynia serum, and while I'm not sure if it's the exact same formula, I've noticed that wiping it off with a pad gives me so much better exfoliation. My lips tend to get flaky too, and when I finish wiping down my face and then use the pad on my lips last, it just sweeps away all that lip flakiness beautifully. Every time I use it, I have to peel off one sheet at a time with tweezers, and honestly they don't come off super easily. I've gotten the hang of it now and just pinch them out carefully. I go through these faster than I expected, so I end up doing my exfoliating routine every single day. I use the pad to wipe, then layer on the houttuynia serum followed by centella cream, and it's absolutely amazing for calming down breakouts. After using it consistently for a month, I've noticed my skin texture looks more refined and organized. When I use this as a final cleansing step to remove makeup, it really helps clean up the area around my nose too. The pads are way too thin. Honestly, the included tweezers are also pretty disappointing. I almost lost my patience trying to remove the pads with them, so I just gently peel them off by hand instead. I really wish they were a bit thicker. I've been using this for body acne and back breakouts. I've had great results with products containing houttuynia cordata extract, so I decided to give this a try and I'm really impressed. After showering, I use this to cleanse, apply my body cream, and even during summer when breakouts are usually at their worst, my skin stays calm and clear. The only inconvenience I've noticed is that the size is quite small for body use, so when I'm cleansing, it tends to curl up and roll into a ball. Even after thoroughly washing in the shower, there's always residue left on your skin. That's why I use this product on my problem areas after showering, especially my chest and back, and I'm always surprised to see how much buildup remains even after a thorough wash. Since I have dry skin, I avoid using scrubs because they make my skin way too dry. And honestly, dryness can actually trigger breakouts too. So now my routine is to use this product to cleanse, then follow up with a nourishing body cream.
