I discovered this brand by chance through a detailed review of Arkwell's hydrating cream, and I'm so glad I did! Since I loved the hydrating cream so much, I figured their other products would be great too, so I picked this up as well. - For oily skin, it doesn't feel heavy at all and creates a light, hydrating veil on the skin! - When I layer the hydrating ampoule and hydrating cream, then seal it with this cream, my skin stays moisturized all night long, even during winter. - The best part? When I apply a thin layer before makeup, it doesn't pill and creates this hydrating barrier that works almost like a primer, making my foundation apply beautifully. This is honestly the best! I'll be honest though - pigmentation and dark spots really need laser treatments or time to fade, so one cream alone won't solve that issue. I'm completely satisfied with how clean and non-sticky this final hydrating barrier cream is. Please don't discontinue this product! There's nothing I dislike. The only thing is the container looks like it's made of aluminum, similar to a Madecassol jar. Arkwell's products are all amazing, but the packaging could be more convenient, haha. Apply a thin layer as the last step before makeup to create a hydrating veil that reduces dryness and helps foundation blend seamlessly. It absolutely does not pill or shift.

Super oily, no combination zones. I purchased this during the early launch promotional deal, and I was so impressed when I opened it that I just had to write this review! To be honest, I wasn't familiar with the Acureal brand, so I didn't have high expectations. I figured if it didn't work, I'd just toss it. Plus, I've rarely had good experiences with lesser-known indie brands. Especially for me—whenever I apply products from smaller brands to my face, I break out about nine times out of ten. Still, since the manufacturer is Kolmar, I trusted the brand and gave it a try. But wow, I was so pleasantly surprised! The texture is incredibly clean and I absolutely love it! Since it's formulated as a trouble-care product, even oily skin types find it completely non-suffocating. There's a subtle hydrating feel, but it's not sticky at all—seriously, zero stickiness. After applying it to my face, despite the hydration, my skin feels smooth (assuming the base products underneath absorbed well without leaving an oily residue). I've been searching for months for a cream with exactly this texture, reading countless reviews, and it turns out I've had it in my room all along! Because my skin is oily, whenever there's hydration, my skin feels heavy, suffocating, sticky, and breakouts appear. This cream doesn't do any of that. I don't usually prefer hydrating textures (though lately I know I need to prioritize moisture, so I'm intentionally using hydrating products). But this cream has a light hydrating feel without any irritation or heaviness. I can feel the hydration sitting on my skin, and there's a slight weight from the cream layer, yet the overall feel is refreshing. The morning after using this, when I look in the mirror, the excess oil on my skin is noticeably reduced compared to usual. When I wash my face in the morning, I can feel how smooth my skin is with my fingertips. It seems to balance my skin's oil-moisture ratio. Also, I've had these deep, inflamed red blemishes forming under my chin lately, and since I started using this Acureal cream, I can feel them subsiding a little bit every day. These are the kind of breakouts that last over a month or two if left untreated and don't heal easily. So it's always been stressful, but this cream actually seems to be working—it's amazing! I'll need to use it longer to know all the details, but so far I'm incredibly satisfied. The weather got a bit chilly, so I'm curious how this would have performed in summer. I think it would have been great even in summer, but since summer's over, I couldn't test it. That's a shame. Of course, skin is different for everyone, and what worked for me might cause trouble for others, but I'd cautiously recommend this to: Anyone with oily, troubled skin. Anyone looking for a cream with a light hydrating feel. Anyone who knows their skin needs hydration but hates heavy, sticky textures. I'm still really satisfied with it, but if I had to mention any drawbacks: - The container is aluminum, so it might be hard to squeeze if you use a lot. - The opening where the product comes out is quite large for a tube-style design. It's nice that a generous amount comes out, but I wonder if it's hygienic? When I squeeze the cream onto my fingertips, I keep brushing my hand against the opening. Because of that, it feels a bit like an ointment concept. The scent also feels like an ointment fragrance, which I actually like. + Update 10.07: I just checked the ingredients and there are 47 of them. I'm not a fan of products with too many ingredients, so that's a bit disappointing. But the product itself is great—I'm almost at the bottom of the jar! I typically gravitate toward richer, more hydrating formulas, but I genuinely recommend reaching for this one during seasonal transitions or on days when pollution is high. What I love most is how it stays put all night and maintains its protective barrier right through until my morning cleanse. It's truly impressive. I wish the tube packaging made it easier to use every last bit of product. It's frustrating not being able to get to the very end.

I received this as a reviewer product, and I'm pretty sure I'll repurchase it once I finish the bottle. The texture is rich and creamy with that luxurious moisturizing feel. It has multiple beneficial ingredients, but honestly, I mainly care about how smoothly it applies and whether it causes any irritation, and I'm happy to say it nails both of those things. There's really nothing to complain about, but if I absolutely had to nitpick something, it would be the fragrance. I have sensitive skin and this product is really gentle without any irritation, so I think it would be great for summer use. The texture is more like an emulsion than a cream. The scent is almost fragrance-free, though there's a slight medicinal note to it. I used it like a regular cream rather than just on discolored areas, and after it absorbs, my skin feels nice and smooth. I love that it comes in a tube because it's so hygienic. Even though it's supposed to be for very dry skin, it felt quite drying on me. During winter, I had to mix it with facial oil or other night creams to make it work better.
