Hey everyone, please stop! This is a cleanser, not a skincare toner. I made the same mistake and used it as a toner without reading carefully, and honestly, my skin has been so red lately because of it haha. I looked at the reviews below and saw a lot of people making the same mistake with the toner, so please don't do that! This makeup remover works wonderfully and leaves my skin feeling clean. I love how it gently fades away any stubborn stains and discoloration on my complexion. The fragrance is quite strong and feels a bit harsh on my sensitive skin. My skin feels tight and dry after using it. I've been using this toner consistently, and I'm really impressed with it. My skin is sensitive and combination-prone with occasional breakouts, but this hasn't caused any irritation whatsoever. I've been using it since summer and plan to keep going because the hydration level is absolutely perfect for my skin. I purchased it from overseas, and while it's not cheaper than your typical toner, it works so well for me that I'm definitely repurchasing. The scent is pleasant too—it has a subtle licorice fragrance that doesn't smell overly chemical or artificial, which I really appreciate. If I'm being honest, I didn't see any significant improvement in my breakouts. While it doesn't irritate my skin, it doesn't really help reduce acne either. If you have sensitivity to licorice or are pregnant, you may want to be cautious with this product.

I should have been more careful since this is a cleansing toner. I didn't use it as intended and missed out on its actual benefits. This was so gentle and wonderful! My face didn't feel irritated at all, and it was really mild and soothing! I wish the ingredients were better. If only the formula had been stronger...

Using this product helped me discover that licorice extract really works wonders for my skin. 2. In that sense, it actually worked better for me than the Acwell soothing tonic. I've been using Acwell's basic skincare line since middle school, and back then my acne improved a lot with it. But as I got older, I forgot about it, and when I became an adult and started breaking out again, I repurchased it. However, it didn't work as well as it did when I was younger. Interestingly, this product worked incredibly well for me instead. 1. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first because it seemed to create some bubbles when used as a toner... But I decided that if my skin likes it, then it's a good product for me, so I used it anyway. 2. The packaging is really flimsy. I went through three large bottles, and since the toner comes in a cylindrical container, every single bottle had cracks around the top rim. Eventually, I got lazy about opening the cap and just let the toner leak out from the cracked area to use it. 3. It's been discontinued! This product just doesn't work for my skin. Whenever I use this essence, my face gets red and feels irritated. I'm not sure which ingredient is causing it. I've never had issues with my other skincare products before, so this is my first time experiencing a reaction like this. Could it be the licorice extract that's the culprit? The scent is a bit unusual and earthy. That said, it's not really bothersome or off-putting. I spotted a buy-one-get-one deal at Lobs and decided to take a chance even though I was skeptical. My skin is extremely dry, and this year I've been struggling with stubborn congestion and folliculitis. I've tried everything—tea tree and aloe products, moisturizing creams over 50,000 won, and even multiple anti-inflammatory injections at the dermatologist. But when I learned that my folliculitis was caused by my skin being too alkaline and that I needed to use pH-balanced products, I decided to try this one since it's the most well-known option. I've been using it for about a week now. My routine is: first, I remove makeup with a cleansing water, then do a second cleanse with cleansing oil, and finally use this toner to wipe away any residue. Just one or two swipes on a cotton pad leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and hydrated—no tightness at all. The tiny congestion bumps that were all over my forehead and the folliculitis I dealt with daily on my chin are actually starting to fade. New ones aren't even appearing! I used to get painful folliculitis flare-ups every two or three days, but now they're becoming less frequent. The toner itself is so gentle and works perfectly for my skin. Since it's a buy-one-get-one offer, I got it for 30,000 won—such an amazing deal! I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. The packaging is a bit inconvenient, honestly. It's pretty large and the design feels a little awkward. When I apply this toner-soaked cotton pad directly to my acne-prone areas, it really does seem to have a calming effect!
