I keep using this product! I was thinking about trying something different, but I ended up coming back to it. There's nothing really disappointing about it. I don't have any major complaints.

I've noticed there are so many fragrance options available these days. With all these scent choices, you can pick and switch based on your mood. Plus, the cream formula is lighter than traditional wax but gives you better hold than a liquid essence, so you can really customize your styling. You need to apply it at a distance from your scalp to avoid buildup. I've been using this product as my go-to styling treatment ever since I was young! The tube packaging makes it so convenient and mess-free to use. The scent isn't really my thing - it has that strong salon smell. Check out the right side of the photo! I styled it this way to compare it directly with the regular essence, and I have to say the difference is real. The plain essence does feel a bit dry and straw-like when you blow-dry it for too long, but the curl essence? Even with extended heat from the blow dryer, it finishes with this gorgeous, smooth shine. I'm honestly impressed! Nothing to complain about! I really loved how this product delivers lasting curl hold. When I use it consistently, my curls stay put for so much longer, and that's exactly what I was looking for. The price point is quite steep, so I think there are definitely other products out there that could do the same job without breaking the bank. I've been using the essence from the same line, but I wanted something with better hold for my curls, so I decided to try this. It's heavier than the essence and does a noticeably better job of defining and controlling my curls. The scent is pleasant and inoffensive too. It's decent enough, but it's a bit pricey. For the cost, I don't see any major standout benefits that justify the price tag.
