The pump dispenser makes it so convenient to use, and I have to say it's way better than the tube type I used before. My hands are always busy, so this pump format is honestly the best! The scent is quintessentially this brand - it has that familiar, pleasant fragrance that I recognize right away. It's nicely scented with a fruity vibe mixed with floral notes. The price feels fair, and I'm getting more product than I expected, so the value for money is definitely there! I use it on damp hair before blow-drying or styling - I apply it from the roots near my ears down to the ends with a couple of pumps and then dry or style as usual. It really does protect my hair from heat damage. Honestly, when I use a high-heat straightener without this, I can feel my hair getting damaged right away, but since I started using this heat protectant, that's been so much less noticeable. Even after I'm done styling, when I apply a little bit to the ends, my hair gets a nice shine and holds onto that lovely scent. I'm really happy with it! I can't really think of any downsides. It's solid, but since it's the most popular product used in salons, I guess there's probably something, but I just haven't found it yet.

I think I've gone through over 15 bottles of Kérastase Thermique Simonè, the heat-protective essence you apply before blow-drying. But the price is pretty steep and it's gotten harder to order internationally, so I kept searching for alternatives and found this product. I'm fairly satisfied with it. The scent is completely different (though I like this one too), but the texture and performance feel quite similar to Thermique Simonè. I'm really happy with the pump bottle format because it's so much more convenient to use. This product isn't super affordable either, so it's not a complete replacement for Thermique Simonè. I think I'll need to keep looking for other options. At first, the 200ml size seemed a bit small to me, but for shorter hair, even using slightly less than one pump seems to be enough. I usually prefer fragrance-free products, but if there's a scent, I appreciate something subtle and long-lasting like musk. This product is exactly that for me. The fragrance isn't strong—it's delicate and barely noticeable. When I apply it to my hair and blow-dry, the scent doesn't linger for hours, but I love that subtle, fresh aroma that lingers in my pillowcase. It just makes me feel good. - Texture This isn't an overly thick formula. Think of it as a lightweight emulsion you'd want to use in summer—that's the consistency here! Because of this, even with repeated applications, my hair doesn't feel weighed down or clumpy. - Smoothness I have a perm, so honestly, no product has ever made my hair feel noticeably soft or easy to comb through. But after using this product and drying my hair, I can actually run my fingers through it smoothly. My hair feels genuinely soft. - Price and Amount This isn't cheap! I had to search around to find a site selling it at a better price, and even then, I probably would've spent days deliberating before buying if I'd paid full price. Plus, the amount you get doesn't match the price tag. When my package arrived with two units, I actually thought only one came because the bottle is so small. (Check the photo below!) - Hard to Find in Stores Maybe it's just my area, but finding this at beauty retailers like Olive Young is surprisingly difficult. Most people like to test products before buying, and since you can't test this one in-store, I don't think many people will take the leap without trying it first. Even though I have a perm, just using this one product alone made my hair feel soft! That said, if you've had multiple bleaching sessions or perms—meaning your hair is severely damaged—one product might not be enough on its own. I'd recommend pairing it with an oil or similar treatment for even better results.
