I have close-set eyes, so mascara usually smudges and flakes all over the place, but this product doesn't have any of those issues. There's zero fallout, the lash-lengthening effect is incredible, and the shade is so natural and wearable. My lashes look beautifully elongated without looking overdone, and I'm absolutely loving it. After a few hours, my lower lashes started to droop a bit. This mascara has great fiber content. The volume it creates is really impressive. With careful application, one smooth stroke gives you a clean, defined look. I was looking for something lighter, so I picked up the ash black shade, but if you're not careful, it gets really dark really fast. The high fiber content means you'll need some technique to apply it properly. My left lower lashes ended up darker because I applied more product there. Honestly, I have naturally thicker lashes on that side, but when I tried to separate them strand by strand, I ended up loading on more formula, which made them look even darker. My left lower lashes just seem naturally fuller and darker anyway. My upper lashes are the opposite - my right side is actually thicker and darker. So I applied a second coat to my lower lashes on the left side. The right side only got one coat. I actually considered adding another layer to the right side too, but I preferred the cleaner look it had, so I left it as is. I tried to recreate that separated lash effect, but it's not as easy as it looks. This mascara has more volume than I expected, making it perfect for a full makeup look. I really love the lengthening and volumizing effects - my lashes look so defined and noticeable! The ash black shade is actually closer to brown, and you really need to be thorough when removing it!

I just came back from the rain and my lashes didn't budge at all! I'm someone who really prioritizes lashes in my makeup routine, and I'm absolutely thrilled with how this performed. I'm not sure if I'm just not sensitive enough to the difference, but honestly I can't really tell the difference between this ash black mascara and a regular black one. When I swatch it on my hand, the color difference is definitely there, but once I apply it to my lashes, I don't notice that distinction as much. That said, it still looks beautiful! Use a lash comb or tweezers to separate each lash strand and comb through them, then blow dry gently for the perfect finish!

I've tried every highly-recommended mascara out there, but I always come back to this one. It's so easy to apply, doesn't smudge or flake anywhere, builds beautifully without clumping, feels lightweight, and gives my lashes amazing volume and length. The deep black color is absolutely gorgeous too. Honestly, I'm not sure what else to say. The only real issue is my own lashes, not the mascara. I really recommend this product. It's honestly so much better quality than most drugstore brands. I used to buy brown mascara and had my lashes turn white, which gave me some doubts. I'd never seen ash black as a mascara shade before, and it looked so beautifully subtle that I knew it would apply naturally. I didn't even look at the length claims, I just bought it based on the color alone. I'm genuinely satisfied. "Ash black" is the perfect description. It's not too brown and not that harsh black that makes your eyes look smaller and heavy. Instead, it's this dewy-looking shade. It's more mysterious than burgundy, honestly it's hard to describe. My lashes have always been a nightmare - they're naturally straight and sparse, so even with a lash curler they droop immediately, and mascara just doesn't hold no matter what I do. I've tried everything and black mascara never looked right on me until now. This ash black shade is like a miracle! It's so beautifully subtle and the staying power is absolutely incredible. I discovered this brand not too long ago and picked up a few different products, but this one is absolutely the best. I have a defined double eyelid with visible inner lid when my eyes are open, so black eyeliner and black mascara usually don't work for me. But this product works beautifully with my eye shape for some reason! It really makes my eyes pop too. I applied it in the morning before heading out, and it didn't droop at all—the staying power is incredible. When I curl my lashes with an eyelash curler and apply this mascara, my lashes look absolutely stunning. If you run another promotion, I'm definitely going to grab the brown shade too. Honestly, I don't really have any complaints. The only downside is that it's not available in physical stores, which is a bit disappointing. Oh, and it doesn't smudge easily, so I can apply it to my lower lashes without worrying about it transferring or looking messy.
