Even though I have oily skin, the staying power is surprisingly impressive. It feels a bit dry when I try to touch it up, and while the coverage isn't super heavy on its own, when I pair it with a concealer, I get exactly the kind of coverage I'm happy with. I didn't notice much of a difference. Since my skin is quite sensitive, I occasionally experienced some irritation. It showed up especially around my nose area. It works fine even when I apply it with a dense powder brush.

I have specific preferences when it comes to cushion foundations, so let me break them down for you. First, I absolutely need a pink base! When applied to my face, I want a true, complete pink tone with zero beige, yellow, white, or gray undertones. Second, ingredients matter to me. I look for products with 4 or fewer concerning ingredients when combining the 20 standard caution ingredients and 2 allergen warnings. Third, fragrance is important. I prefer either unscented products or those with just a subtle hint of scent. Even if a fragrance smells amazing, if it's too strong or if there's that characteristic oily smell from the cushion formula itself, I can't use it. Fourth, formula, coverage, and brightness. I love products with minimal oil content that feel incredibly hydrated and dewy. I need at least medium coverage, and the shade should work for my skin tone - anywhere from bright 13 to bright 21 is perfect. The prettier the packaging and the more portable, the better! Fifth, the case design. I appreciate when it's visually appealing and convenient to carry. Sixth, price point. For a full product plus refill, I'd expect to pay between 28,000-32,000 won. For just the full-size product alone, 15,000-18,000 won feels right. Now, applying these criteria to this cushion foundation: Starting with the first point - I'm already a bit disappointed. I'll explain that in the drawbacks section. Second point: It passes! Only 3 ingredients appear in the 20 caution ingredients list, so that's acceptable. Third point: The fragrance is a bit ambiguous, which I'll address in the drawbacks. Fourth point - formula, coverage, and brightness: I mentioned wanting a dewy, hydrated product, but this one feels more semi-matte or matte. However, it does have minimal oil content and doesn't feel greasy, so it's decent. The coverage is solid - better than the Glaze cushion actually. The brightness matches my skin perfectly at shade 21. Fifth point: The case looks beautiful in photos, and unlike the Glaze cushion, it has a regular case instead of a mirror case, so there's no risk of scratches. Sixth point - price: I'm a bit disappointed here too, which I'll explain in the drawbacks section. The shade and fragrance were my biggest disappointments. As I mentioned, I wanted a true, complete pink base with absolutely no beige, yellow, white, or gray undertones. The product name suggested a rosy tone, and the description made it look pink, so I purchased it. But when it arrived, it was clearly beige! Looking at my swatch on my wrist - the middle shade - doesn't it look distinctly beige? The same issue appears in my face swatch photos, so I'm deducting one star for the shade. As for fragrance: This cushion has the exact same scent as the Glaze cushion. The herb and lavender notes are so strong that I can't use it at all, so I'm deducting another star. Regarding price: Just like with the Glaze cushion, I stated that a full product plus refill should cost 28,000-32,000 won, and a full-size product alone should be 15,000-18,000 won. Even though I bought this at the cheapest price I could find online, I still paid 22,100 won, which felt disappointing. Since the shade and fragrance were my biggest letdowns, I'm deducting two stars total, and I won't be repurchasing this product.
