At first it seems slick and like it won't absorb, but it actually sinks in beautifully. After application, there's a pleasant, slightly tacky feel. When applied at room temperature, it doesn't feel cooling initially, but once it sets, you get a subtle cooling effect along with hydration—not an intense chill, but a gentle, refreshing sensation. The scent is subtle and unobtrusive. The coverage is lightweight and blends seamlessly without any greasy residue, so it works well under makeup. The large spatula applicator is really convenient. It does have a slightly sticky texture and can stick to hair. That said, this stickiness actually helps it adhere well to the skin. I got it on sale from a live shopping event for a great price, but when I checked the regular retail price, I was honestly shocked. At full price, I probably wouldn't buy it. If you refrigerate it first, the cooling sensation is absolutely intense. After it absorbs, I'd recommend applying a second layer to prevent dryness. For oily or combination skin, try applying a loose powder afterward—it sets beautifully and controls shine. I love how generous the size is! I apply it multiple times before my makeup routine, and it feels so hydrating and absorbs beautifully into my skin. Before bed, I need to apply a really generous amount to see decent results the next morning. When I use it before makeup, it keeps my skin feeling moisturized throughout the day and doesn't cause any pilling or flaking.

It's just like Tonymoly's Houttuynia Cordata Quick Calming - super refreshing yet moisturizing at the same time. This would be absolutely perfect if it weren't for the fragrance. Please remove the fragrance. I'm really hoping you will.
