This Vanilacos foundation has the best staying power - I haven't switched to anything else since I started using it. When I apply it with a damp sponge, even my oily skin stays perfectly smooth and doesn't get patchy at all!! My cheeks tend to be on the drier side, and on days when my skin isn't at its best, I did notice some slight separation. Another thing to watch for is that the shade can oxidize and darken slightly over time, so it may look deeper than when you first apply it. The pump dispenser releases quite a bit of product at once, which makes it tricky to control the amount. Also, since it offers medium coverage, you'll likely need a separate concealer to tackle blemishes or dark circles. Before application, I'd recommend prepping your skin with a hydrating skincare routine to ensure it's well-moisturized. I loved the Banila Co White Cushion so much that I decided to grab this foundation thinking it would work just as well for me, and I'm so happy I did! Since it's a full-coverage foundation, it lasts even longer on my skin. The best part is how it applies smoothly without looking heavy or thick, and there's absolutely no darkening throughout the day. I'm really impressed! I'm on my third bottle of this foundation, and I absolutely love it. Since my face tone requires shades 13 to 17 to match my neck and body, I've tried countless foundations over the years. I used Revlon 110 for a while, but they discontinued it, which was such a hassle to deal with. When Vanilla Co. relaunched their formula, I knew I'd found "the one." Anyone who's used it will tell you the same thing—there's seriously zero oxidation or darkening. The finish is smooth and creamy without any white cast, and the staying power is incredible. Even during the hottest summer days, it holds up beautifully without budging, though I do recommend using a powder during summer for extra longevity. Honestly, I haven't found another foundation that offers this level of quality at this price point. Not really any downsides. I wish the bottle had a bit more product in it, but I understand that's probably not realistic.

I picked one up during summer, and ever since I started using it, people keep telling me my skin looks amazing. The coverage isn't that strong. Compared to my skin tone, my acne scars and breakouts seem more noticeable, which could be the issue. It also only lasts about four hours. By 3 PM, my foundation is completely cracked and separated. It feels too heavy when I apply a thick layer. This foundation covers beautifully and lasts all day long. The formula is really beginner-friendly and easy to work with. 1. The compact is absolutely adorable and so convenient to carry around. The cute design makes you want to take another look at it every time you reach for it! 2. I used to rely mainly on BB cream, but this foundation is definitely a game-changer. The formula is so much richer and pigmented that just a tiny amount covers my entire face, making it last so much longer. 3. Since I spend a lot of time outdoors, I usually apply my makeup quite generously for protection. With BB cream, no matter how many layers I applied, the coverage always felt too sheer and I worried my skin would get damaged. But this product is amazing because even a small amount provides real protection and peace of mind. I didn't really notice any major drawbacks, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be that applying it in thin layers multiple times feels tedious. When I apply too much at once to save time, it tends to settle and clump in fine lines and wrinkles, which actually makes them more noticeable. Since the formula is quite dense, achieving a natural-looking finish really does require using a damp sponge and building coverage gradually with several thin applications. Shade 19 Light comes out surprisingly bright! It's genuinely pale enough for the fairest skin tones. Because of this, I've been mixing it with a darker shade I accidentally purchased that didn't work for me on its own. I'd really recommend choosing your shade carefully based on your actual skin tone. I usually go for shades 17-19, and when I use this Vanilla Co foundation, my skin looks so radiant and glowing overall! I've heard so many compliments about how bright and flawless my complexion looks on days when I wear this foundation, which makes me really happy. The matte finish makes it better suited for summer rather than winter. Overall though, I'm satisfied and keep using it!
