The exfoliating effect is quite intense, and if you have dry skin, it can really compromise your skin barrier and cause flaking. The darkening is also way too strong. Honestly, the design feels a bit dated too. It's not great for oily skin types either, and dry skin? Forget about it. I think only people with naturally perfect skin should even bother trying this. I'm committing to this cushion foundation for life, and I'm completely serious about it. For reference, I used to wear Naming Layered Fit 17Y. I have fair skin tone 13, and Vanilla Co 15 Pure came out incredibly radiant on me. While Naming was also luminous, when I swatched both on my wrist, Vanilla Co definitely looked more yellow, but when I applied it to my face, it actually gave me this gorgeous pink-toned glow instead. That's when I realized that judging a foundation purely based on wrist swatches is honestly a mistake. As for oxidation, it varies from person to person, but personally, I experienced zero darkening. Right after applying the cushion, the powdery finish and color stayed exactly the same, which honestly surprised me. If you're reading this review, you probably have very fair skin, and I'm telling you to just buy it. For context, I have combination skin that's sensitive, good skin texture, but with some redness and a slightly yellow undertone to my fair complexion. The biggest advantage is that there's absolutely no oxidation at all. Even the natural darkening that happens over time doesn't occur, and the color stays exactly as it was when first applied. I've been using this for so long because it's the first cushion that doesn't cause breakouts and actually calms my skin. It has a nicely matte finish without emphasizing dry patches. The only time I notice any texture is when I tap it heavily on my chin or apply it too thickly, but if I just gently press a small amount across my face, since the outer areas have almost no visible pores, there's absolutely no dry patch emphasis. As long as you stick to a basic exfoliation routine once a week, you won't have to worry about these unnecessary concerns. Seriously, just buy it. When you apply it to your face, it's 2.5 times more radiant than Naming 17Y. Is there any oxidation? Not really. But since everyone's skin is different, please don't blindly trust reviews and use them as a reference to make your own judgment. You don't need to stress too much about your skincare routine. Just a heads up though - the vanilla tone base has a yellow undertone, so if you have fair skin, I'd recommend going one shade lighter after checking the color match first. If your skin is flaky or dehydrated, this cushion can look a bit patchy. If your skin is in good condition, the coverage is absolutely amazing. It gives such a radiant, glowing finish. I think it works wonderfully for those with fair skin tones. You absolutely need to control the amount you use. If you don't prep your skin properly or apply it too thickly, it immediately looks cakey. It has a pink-toned feel, so even on fair skin, you'll notice a noticeable difference between your neck and face tone. Amount control

I normally have such a fair complexion that store associates comment on how pale my skin is even without makeup. But this product? It takes it to another level. The coverage is so full that it applies thickly, which makes my skin look even whiter than usual. I'm applying it like a highlighter at this point. It does an amazing job covering pores, and while it is quite drying since my skin is extremely parched, the staying power more than makes up for it. This foundation truly lasts all day. When I first applied this, I thought it looked great and smooth. But when I layered it on, things got a bit patchy and uneven. I've learned that I need to be really careful with how much I use and blend it well to make it last throughout the day without looking streaky. The shade itself is a bit yellowish, kind of like a pale flour color.
