I really prioritize fragrance when choosing a shampoo, so I was drawn to this product's name, "Hug Perfume," and decided to try it. To cut to the chase, this shampoo has a truly captivating scent. From the moment I pump it out, a warm and sweet floral aroma fills the air beautifully. Just like the name suggests, it smells like a cozy embrace—it has this lovely blend of sweet soap and powdery notes that isn't overwhelming at all. My entire bathroom fills with this wonderful fragrance while I'm washing my hair, which puts me in such a good mood. It honestly feels like I'm getting a mini aromatherapy session every time I use it. The lather is rich and abundant, so I only need a small amount to get a thorough cleanse. The scent on this is absolutely amazing, and it really lasts! I have a sensitive scalp, so fragrant shampoos don't work well for me in general, so I've stopped using it regularly. But honestly, I still want to reach for it on special occasions when I need that extra boost of confidence.
I wouldn't recommend this for sensitive scalps. The fragrance lingers way too long, which honestly doesn't feel great.
