I was expecting a foaming cleanser to give that squeaky-clean feeling, but the cleansing power is pretty weak. The scent has this herbal, plant-like smell, and honestly, everything in their cica line has the same fragrance. There aren't many reviews out there, which is surprising because this product is really great! I've tried several other cleansing foams before, but I've finally found my go-to with this one. It doesn't produce an excessive amount of lather, but what it does create is incredibly dense and rich. The formula is gentle, so when I massage it onto my skin, it doesn't cause any irritation. The scent is a bit herbal, kind of like comfrey. This cleanser is so gentle yet creates a rich, dense lather that feels like it's reaching deep into my pores for a thorough cleanse. I think it's really going to help with managing breakouts. My skin is quite sensitive, and the fact that I'm not experiencing any irritation tells me the cleansing power is excellent, but it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or parched. I'm absolutely loving this product! I'd definitely recommend it. The scent is a bit tricky to describe—sometimes it smells fresh and herbal, but other times it comes across as a little off-putting. That said, I actually prefer products without added fragrance anyway, so it's not a dealbreaker for me.
