It applies smoothly but doesn't absorb immediately—instead, it creates a lovely moisture barrier on the skin. The scent is wonderful! It has a similar fragrance to their geranium leaf body wash, so I feel happy every time I use it. Since it contains hyaluronic acid, it layers beautifully with other moisturizers and serums. The formula is transparent with a subtle dewy feel, though it's not purely a hydrating serum. I have oily, acne-prone skin, so I probably wouldn't use this during other seasons like spring or summer, but it's perfect for transitional weather and winter. I'm absolutely loving it right now. The absorption is a bit slow, and the dropper attracts dust way too easily.

My skin doesn't feel tight, and it's not overly oily either—it feels like that ideal 85% hydration to 15% oil balance. There are days when even using this product doesn't prevent my skin from feeling dry. If you have extremely dry skin, I don't think this alone will solve your dryness issues. I didn't experience any breakouts at all! Hydration feel - the downside There's definitely a moisturizing sensation, but if you have dry skin like me, this alone just isn't enough. While it does hydrate deeper layers, it doesn't create that protective, dewy barrier on the surface, so you really need to layer a cream or oil on top to feel truly satisfied. Breakout concerns - the downside I didn't get any breakouts, but because it absorbs so lightly, while there's no irritation, you can't really expect any calming or soothing benefits either. If you're using it specifically to calm troubled skin, it falls a bit short.
