This product smooths out pores and texture beautifully, and when sprayed over foundation, it locks your makeup in place all day long, keeping your skin looking flawless and polished. The spray dispenses quite heavily, so you might get more product than you need in one application, which can feel like too much. Plus, it lacks hydration, so if you have dry skin, you might experience a slight tightening sensation.

My face felt so tight before I looked in the mirror that I thought, "Oh no, this is bad," but there's zero breakdown visible, my pores look tighter, and everything looks so firm! Since I hadn't used a setting spray in forever, I was rusty with it, so I sprayed before makeup, then after one layer of cushion, sprayed again, then after another layer, sprayed again, and sprayed once more after color—four times total, so that might've made it even drier! As someone with extremely dry skin, this is very drying. My expressions didn't set well. But like I mentioned in the pros, it doesn't really show noticeably. My makeup used to break down so easily during summer, but since I started finishing with this super setting spray, my makeup stays put all day long and lasts so much better. I'm really happy with how it works, and the final finish feels amazing too. I wish the spray mist was finer and more even on my face. Since I have oily skin, my makeup used to break down quickly throughout the day because of the oil buildup. But this really helps manage that oiliness, so my makeup lasts so much longer now. There's a noticeable difference between days when I use it and days when I don't. On days I apply this, my makeup stays put for an extra 2 to 4 hours compared to my usual routine. I've been pairing it with a foundation that doesn't last as long, and it makes a real difference. Even though it comes in a plastic bottle, the spray mechanism is fantastic! The mist is so fine and even that it applies smoothly without clumping or streaking. I'm not sure if it really minimizes the appearance of pores. If you have dry skin, this might feel too drying for you. And if you have dry skin plus it's winter, you could experience significant dryness and flaking. When makeup does break down, it doesn't look like a pretty, blended correction. It seems like this product is really just focused on longevity and hold, nothing else. If you have oily skin or your makeup tends to break down easily, try applying this in layers: once before your base makeup, once after your base makeup, and once more at the end. Splitting the application into multiple light layers really boosts how long everything lasts! I tried the mini sample first and liked it so much that I went ahead and bought the full size. After I finish my base makeup routine and spray this a few times, my makeup seriously stays put all day. I've completely ditched my midday touch-ups now. My skin feels less oily too, and I've basically forgotten what makeup breakdown even feels like! The price is quite steep. Absolutely amazing. When you spray it, you get this incredibly fine mist that feels so luxurious. It's honestly so much better than Urban Decay. The staying power is fantastic, and the scent is really subtle and not overwhelming at all. I can't really complain, but if I had to pick something, it would be the price. My makeup lasts so much longer when I use this spray compared to when I skip it. Everything about it is great except for having to hold my breath while spraying, which is a bit inconvenient.
